Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
I’m sure you all know this but Brad isn’t the talent booker. He’s not responsible for who’s on the lineup lol
We know how Bonnaroo works. Nobody knows more about Bonnaroo than inforoo. There are two guys and they meet at their hunting camp somewhere in north Alabama in November and they put together the lineup then.
Assuming he plays, I strongly recommend checking out Tyler Childers if you don’t know him.
Tyler got sober and doesn’t play any of his songs about drinking or drugs anymore, incredible artist just a shame we’ll never hear Whitehouse Road live
i won tickets to a green day show once and they were aggressively okay. don’t think i’ve ever seen an artist shout the name of the city they were in more than billie joe armstrong. i think he said “tampa” like 5 times per song
Was that when they played with Catfish and the Bottlemen? I was at that show if so. Billie did say Tampa quite a bit
found the people who comment "tyler needs to get back on drugs" in whiskey riff's comments
Being happy Tyler got sober and being sad I won’t get to hear my favorite song by him are two feelings that can exist at the same time. Those Jubilee versions on the new album are insane, I’m not the religious type but that album is top 5 for me this year

saw tyler childers in 2018 at the indiana state fair on a free stage. he was super duper stoned but played a really great show and was still himself even though it was a somewhat family friendly setting. he smiled real big and was sheepish during the part where he had to say “stoned” during feathered indians. sounds like i got in at the right time to see the drug songs but i still wish him well he’s awesome

Interesting that Tyler doesn't play his drug songs anymore. Respect for whatever he thinks is best for his sobriety but Isbell is also sober and still plays his drug shit.
I love what Isbell said before he played "Codeine" at Bonnaroo. "When I wrote this song I thought it was sad. When I play it today I think it's funny."
And it always struck be as a funny song as well. A funny song that also happens to be one of the great break up songs imo. So fucking clever that guy.

I saw Tyler last week at Christmas Jam and he and his band killed it, his cover of Trudy was the highlight of the night! Completely made up for missing half of Govt Mule because my dad was peaking too hard. “I feel like Ulysses tied to the mast” he said as he hugged a piller in the lobby. Great night, hope he’s at Roo.

I agree those covers were lame but I was able to ignore the bullshit because of the people I was with. We had one of the few pits going and it was so much fun
i stand corrected, theyre bigger than i thought. point being neither of the acts he mentioned are 2nd names on their day anymore
Chicks were number one on their day at ACL over SZA two months ago. They were a perfectly fine sub for Roo.
yea that was a certified bruh moment on my part. the main point i was tryna make think SZA or the Strokes would take anything less than first on their day unless it was an alphabetic top line like Prima. SZA post SOS is probably headline or bust.

Yo. If I get back to Roo I’m trying to get lifted with your pops!

The Strokes were like the equivalent of 3rd or 4th on their day in 2011 and they’ve done nothing really to warrant them being any higher since then. SZA could be 1 but if they booked her early enough I could see her being a sub headliner.
what do you mean The Strokes haven’t done anything to warrant them being higher? They literally just won a grammy for best rock album in 2021

Echoing all the Tyler Childers love, I got super into him over the summer, he’s awesome!! For those who don’t know, his newest album has each song redone in 3 different styles, the Jubilee versions are *chefs kiss* 🤌🏻 Don’t let the title dissuade you from listening, I’m extremely not religious and still love it.

Saw Kendrick at Rolling Loud Miami this past summer and it was really good. Pretty cool stage setup and solid setlist. If we get Kendrick it probably means we get baby Keem too and that's a win.

people need to stop getting me excited for The Strokes.
