Idk the numbers but it has to be like literally twice as expensive to live and survive in SoCal compared to North Florida
Not quite, but cost of living is 65% higher in LA and 55% higher in SD. Unfortunately, a lot of people realized how elite Florida is since the pandemic and our cost of living has come up a bit. But still drastically lower than SoCal to your point.
People moved there because of the lack of Covid restrictions and "freedum" If that's elite I'll pass

Oh no! It truly was an awful coaster but because of it's infamy I'm so glad I got to ride it many times...younger coaster enthusiasts are green with envy when they find out Kings Island was my home park when it was in operation.
Easily the roughest coaster I’ve ridden.
I live and work about 5 min from the park, and I rode Diamondback this summer in a suit and tie on my lunch break.

Pittsburgh is nice. It's not the best, but it's certainly not the worst place to live. Just wish we got more shows that Philly and the combination of Ohio cities get.

Yeah people enjoyed the concept of partying on the beach while the rest of the country was freezing in dark cold cities indoors for months on end. It was irresponsible then, but the principal holds true pre and post covid anyways.

One of my good friends just spent a year teaching there after an entire lifetime of wanting to live there and he absolutely hated much of it lol

When I was in CT a couple weeks back I passed a girl on the sidewalk who had her extra $175 of clothing on and a hot coffee on her morning walk to work. I stupidly said hello as we passed. Of course she wasn't going to remove her red face and ears from being burrowed inside the neck of her jacket to greet someone! Silly me! Her life looked so enviable I couldn't wait to look up the cost of living difference to see if I could make it work.
