Maybe I missed this discussion but is there any reasoning to them branding late night as “after hours” this year
It also no longer says “Sets Going Till Sunrise” it now says “Sets Till Late” I wonder why the change in language? No more sunrise sets I guess. I’m usually in bed by 4am the latest anyway.
The copy in the email has stuff going till sunrise
What curfew? Bonnaroo goes ALL NIGHT LONG. Check out the after hours acts you can expect to see in Centeroo on the main stages and tents starting at Midnight (or later).
There are so many surprises and experiences across The Farm – rest up and get ready to dance 'til sunrise at secret shows, groove out at the silent disco, relax at Tonalism in The Grove, plus more.

I’m pulling this completely out of my ass but I feel like the big names they’ve announced here are in the would-be surprise witw headliner slots of last year, but they’re announcing them now to drive ticket sales instead of keeping them a surprise
it's wild because any festival in texas touting a lineup of Turnpike, Flatland, and Paul Cauthen would sell out insanely fast but instead they're in the campgrounds for a weak selling Roo.

That plaza lineup is really good and way bigger than I would have imagined. Turnpike specially seems huge, they are selling out every show they announce and secondary tickets have been nuts. I wish they were on the regular line-up as well
This actually helps me want to consider it, I just wish the headliners of the main fest did more for me. If they give Billy Strings 2+ hours I'll genuinely consider the fest again though

Do you want to dance while also thinking about all the ways you've failed as a human?

That’s pretty cool. I usually like about half of Dillon Francis’ shows. I usually don’t have interest in seeing LP, but the Dead show was pretty cool, and depending on how far and where it is in relation to where I am would depend on if I went. Heelturn is a DJ from here. I don’t know what Motherfunk is, but I like the name. Also Yomi the Harpist. I don’t get enough harp in my life. I’ve seen Main Squeeze before. They’re okay but more disco and soul than pure funk. But they are talented. ref

Never been to Bonnaroo, but this seems interesting
They have these numbered camping areas they used to call pods or whatever. And each one has a common area. Some are like shed-warehouses that are permanent structures. All of them are a little different and have hosted different types of entertainment, lectures, arts and whatever.
