We can’t wait for Clozee haven’t seen her since 2018 Roo which is big sad. So super jazzed. Glad to hear she crushed it. Sounds like Buku was a good time all in all, glad to hear it.
Is getting the schedule in the next two weeks being overly optimistic?
What are everyone’s biggest concerns for the schedule?
Yeah, it's probably early still.
I don't really have too many. Since they gave us the late nights, it's a little clearer. From Thursday, I'll see Sons of Kemet late.
Friday late is a little trickier because we have Denzel Curry, King Gizzard and Goose all on that late night. I would want to see all of Denzel more than King Gizzard or Goose, so I would probably make sure to see him knowing he'd be playing a 50-55 minute set somewhere relative to however late Goose and King Gizzard go. I'm not big on very much of the rest of Friday's lineup, so I don't really care about conflicts much earlier. It's kind of a wandering day for me that I'll dig into the bottom more once the schedule is released to figure out a general plan.
Saturday late, I don't want Rebillet to conflict with Pigeons Playing Ping Pong. I like Ludacris and would probably go see at least some of that show. But I haven't seen Marc and think that could be fun on a late night. Pigeons is second choice but will likely play 3-4 hours, so I'll be at plenty of that. Earlier Saturday, I don't want Tool & Chvrches to overlap and I suppose for the earlier sets, Cory Henry vs. Moore Kismet. I would like to see a little bit more of Moore's show since I only got a few minutes in this weekend. But I'm not sacrificing anything for Cory Henry.
Sunday I don't think will be that conflicted. As long as any of the 4 of Herbie Hancock, Puscifer, Lettuce and All Them Witches aren't in conflict I'm good. And I'd want to see all of Lettuce, because it's Lettuce. But hopefully they'd be an afternoon set or conflict with Roddy Rich or Machine Gun Kelly since Idgaf about either of those sets. I wouldn't give MGK the time of day. And I've seen Roddy live already. He wasn't as bad as some people say he is, but it wasn't much. G. Jones would probably close The Other vs. Stevie, so I'd figure out a way to catch some of both of those since I haven't seen Greg in a few years.
Someone told me they ran into DVS this weekend at either Buku or Buku late. Can't remember since it's all a blur. But apparently he's still alive and kicking at least.

I think earliest would be early May don’t think we getting it this Month. Bet this month we get Who stage and more camp ground activities / plaza info.
For me, the schedule will be the deciding factor on whether I go or not. This lineup is pretty thin overall, but it has juuuusst enough heavy hitters that I could maaayyybbbee make it work:
Thursday: Ability to get close for both Nothing and Sons of Kemet. Also be able to catch at least 3 of Goth Babe, Blu DeTiger, Indigo De Souza, and Weval
Friday: All I really care about is being able to get from close/rail Robert Plant & Allison Kraus to close/rail KGATLW LN. Wouldn't mind catching Lord Huron or War on Drugs and J Brekkie or Arlo Parks
Saturday: T00L pit line is the reason for the season. It would be cool to catch some of Billy Strings and/or Chvrches on the What but luckily (?) nothing really catches my interest during the day. For late night, I'd want to be able to catch all of 100 gecs and at least some of Marc, and that possibility is looking likely.
Sunday: As long as I can can get close/rail for Puscifer and Herbie and be able to walk into the Stevie pit, I'd be a happy camper. Maybe sprinkle in some Lettuce or Witches as well
Even with everything lining up EXACTLY, I would still only be averaging like 4 bands a day, which is a big step down from my average of 7 bands a day every other year I've been. Maybe I'd enjoy the less hectic schedule, but it would still feel like I wasn't getting my money's worth...

Will the Tool set be the full arena production? Without having the arena roof to hand the projectors on, will they be able to make the "curtain" in front of the band work?

Last year the full schedule came out 17 days before the fest was set to start, I no longer have my emails from 2019...that being a normal year and probably would be a better representation
Ludacris got replaced at Jazz Fest with Busta Rhymes. I've never seen him, but Busta was always a funny mfer and good rapper. All I know was that he replaced him though not sure why since it was a silent switch between the lineup announcement and release of schedule. I also don't know if this means anything for Bonnaroo though probably not.

That is some bullshit! I don't want Busta, I want Christopher Mother Fucking Bridges, goddammit.

I saw Ludacris at Roo 2012 and would probably see some of him again depending on what I'm immersed in late night that night. But it seems like a pretty fair trade off. Now if they'll replace Foo Fighters with Pearl Jam and not something way lesser, I'll be happy.

FUCK I didn't even think about the fact that it was FF that was in that TBD spot. FUCK! I am sorry but can we have the equivalent of Pearl Jam without it being Pearl Jam? I don't like them.
Do you want to dance while also thinking about all the ways you've failed as a human?

She is, yeah. Looks like a fair amount of carryover from 2021, maybe about a third of the acts or so. I remember liking Garcia Peoples and not being into most of the singer-songwriter/single name acts, but I always like digging through this stage.
