imho bonnaroo's headliners slightly edge out lolla but it's about even.
metallica has played a lot of rock festivals in the last year and tool has toured the shit out of fear inoculum so they're even in my mind. both good shows but haven't been hard to catch recently.
dua lipa's tour has looked really cool and might be a reason why i do a day of lolla. she's only toured future nostalgia this year so it's not like a show that's run its course. stevie nicks i'm just not excited for. if it was fleetwood mac i would be but as a solo act i'm just not excited. dua takes this one for me.
j cole is an ok hip hop headliner shared by both.
assuming green day is a wild card that could take the slot of a bonnaroo headliner they're an ok headliner. the difficult part is that they literally haven't released anything worthwhile since american idiot. i'd see them but it's a pure nostalgia act for most people at this point.
But how far will AF fall now that Will Butler is out? Or will this not affect them at all? I really have no idea since I don't follow them.
Will was one of the most energetic live members so its a bit of a bummer he's leaving but it will not affect their popularity at all. And Dan Boeckner is as good a replacement as anyone could ask for

Haven't really been on this thread since the lineup came out. Bought presale and was bummed with the lineup but have since warmed up to it. Don't have any friends that are going so I'm considering going solo if my ticket doesn't sale. Are we expecting a '16 esque crowd? If so, I'm very interested. Made a clashfinder that seems realistic enough but would be ideal for me conflict wise.
New Denzel curry album is absolutely fire, so hype for this set. I have no clue what he’s gonna play. I wanna hear so much from him, im excited to get anything.
Went to both Tame shows in Asheville and they were incredible. First night I got seats center back, and with it being the smallest venue of the tour they had the lasers going above *and* below the seats. It was pretty wild.
The second night though I got pretty close in the pit and was the biggest change up of the whole tour, and why I took the chance at driving up there from Bham. I knew the band had praised Asheville before and second nights have typically gotten good setlists.
Second night setlist included: Endors Toi (my 2nd fav song and first time seeing live after 6 shows), It Is Not Meant to Be, Why Won’t They Talk to Me, and an 8-minute Keep On Lying with a Light My Fire by The Doors solo in the middle. 6 total songs from Lonerism. It was awesome. Kevin was also very talkative and cracking jokes throughout.

Saw them in Nashville and he was really talkative that night too. Saw them in Atlanta last year too and it Nashville was the better show.

don’t forget about the people who said they had sex to Mind Mischief

i was at both of these shows too! didn’t really feel one was better than the other but that might also be because ATL was my first time seeing them
The sex during Mind Mischief had me cracking up. We went to see Beach House in Raleigh the next night but kinda wish I had done both nights of Tame after hearing the reports. Glad Kevin loves Asheville.
So yo. Just my opinion and others that I talked to, but from at least some personal experience
CloZee - dynamite and always better. Will be top 6 or 7 Buku for me
Wreckno - absolutely insane. I don’t really care if it’s memeable or whatever, but he was hard as fuck and a good rapper on top of that. If you are free in your head and don’t give a fuck what other people think and aren’t afraid of catching teh ghey - and if you like shit on the harder side, it’s liable to be a Thursday highlight. I posted in the buku thread that I met him this weekend at an after party. Such a nice guy but damn. Crazy level shit. I’ll be there.
Interlude this new fucking Denzel album is great. I’m only on song 3.
I didn’t see Lane 8, 100 Gecs or John Summit so no opinion.
Moore Kismet was cool as shit. I only had a piece of that due to Flo Milli and Vince Staples, so I will probably see you - or more likely you will see me at Moore.
Otherwise Bas was cool. A Hundred Drums was okay if nothing else is on and you like her approach to Dub. Kali is what she is. If you like her, I’d encourage you to see her on Sunday. I only saw a few minutes of her shoe wtf show motherfucker phone - this time and wasn’t that big of a fan. But it’s not sucking.
