Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
It seems like kind of a demographic shift in their booking toward more pop/now stuff. There's talent on it, just not enough for me to travel. I'd figure out 3 days of schedules/wandering if I lived in Austin or if that was a lineup here. Austin was always sort of a rock-first town, and they never had trouble selling tickets.
Ideally they'll stay the newer course for ACL and resurrect Voodoo with rock and hip hop again at some point. For now, I've got Bourbon and Beyond in the fall. I'm not wild about the lineup, but it's got some pretty okay stuff on it.
I'd still really love to check out Suwanee Hulaween in the fall, we will see when the lineup drops if this will be the year that finally happens for me. I never made it to Voodoo but always considered attending that as well!
I always wanted to go to Hula. It will either be that or a trip to W NC in the fall.

i'm sleeping through the war is a vastly underrated album and ben is one of the best guitarists working. no idea what would cause them to cancel everything so i hope they're not breaking up.

fun fact: drea de matteo is dating their drummer
I saw her at Bonnaroo once. Her and Shooter Jennings were standing next to me in the crowd for MMJ. 2006, I think.

extremely jealous. i'm a big sopranos fan and that was an awesome bonnaroo year
also all them witches have cancelled almost all of their dates including bonnaroo
EDIT: good news everyone! all them witches are IN for bonnaroo. they said they cancelled their summer festival dates so i thought that meant bonnaroo but from the looks of their tour itinerary on their website they only cancelled dates in july and august. didn't mean to mislead anyone

Yeah same here. I also haven't bought a parking pass either, just a wristband (need to get on that)
Same to only buying one ticket and no parking pass but having two tracking, I also checked the weight is the same....hmmmm?
They're sending some of us an extra one so we can bring a friend and increase their numbers. They can still make some money on vendors and don't have to waste all of that extra space.
Fingers crossed Roo doesn't get added to the ATW drops.
Also i did Hula last year and it was so fucking cold. Good fest but definitely different than Roo. It's pretty lawless
Yeah the lawlessness is sick
Wakarusa was king of lawlessness festival. Zero heat on grounds and security there for safety only. So suck they had to abandon it. Hula is a possibility. I think the family wants to go back to the mountains in the fall, so Asheville or thereabouts is more likely. But I have like 4 vacations in the next 3 months to deal with before making a final decision. I might get a ticket for me knowing that it will sell out and can always move it later and assuming Voodoo is RIP for this year.
