Have GV not tried to get Brian Eno to perform? They’re running out of David Byrne/Danny Elfman type legacy acts. He plays a show once in a blue moon so it would be quite the get.

What about Phil Collins
I want to hear my favorite song from the Tarzan soundtrack, in the air tonight
this is a predictable one but given their big focus on more international and world appealing artists I think Wizkid and/or Burna Boy are shoeins for 2023 at 2 or 3 on their days

Burna Boy might have beef with GV cause of his billing since he is a "legend". Then they stuck him early on Main and had a small crowd.

ahh good point, i forgot. mainly basing my statement on his sub billing at Osheaga for this year and gargantuan crowd at Gov Ball last year on their main stage

I don't see a way that Wizkid or Burna Boy end up THAT high in 2023. Wizkid could def end up second line though. Tems could end up on the 2nd line also, if she drops a big album by the 2023 poster drop. I don't think Afrobeat is big enough in the "general" American audience yet, if you get what I mean, but it's getting traction. It took Reggaeton a little bit of time to get to where it is in the "general" American audience. Even in 2019, Bunny and Balvin were more than big enough to be subs or even headliners, to be totally honest, but the majority demographic of Coachella wasn't consuming Reggaeton like that yet. So I'm assuming it'll be similar with Afrobeat, give it a couple more years though and we should see these artists billed really high.

Well he supposedly sold out The Hollywood Bowl when he played there back in Nov. The only reason that was even possible was because tickets went on massive discount for 3 months.

anyone here booked at Palm Mountain before btw? really just wanna make sure i dont get screwed and either lose the reservation or have them jack prices on me.
Someone also commented further down that Frank and Bad Bunny are in.
Imagine the HitsDD article was accurate and Justin Bieber being a, “lock” for 2023 materializes, how we feeling on JB, Bad Bunny and Frank Ocean as our hypothetical headliners?

That would be a really strong group. Not having any Women headliners may not be a great look, though. I probably wouldn't see JB if there's good counter programming, but he would def be a great booking. Wonder what 2nd or 3rd acts would accompany that group.
