I don’t think The Chicks will play at Coachella next year because they’re so disappointed at the moment and they can play at Stagecoach instead of Coachella.
I can’t see Taylor. If she’s skipping this summer next summer she is probably going to hit the touring circuit pretty heavy. No radius clause for Tay Tay.
Unless Coachella leaves it till January 2023 to book her.

Taylor Swift and The Chicks won’t play at Coachella next year.
2022 is probably gonna be my last one for a while. Hard to think of anyone other than Rihanna that would motivate me in the next few years
I've seen hee twice and neither was anything other than average. I know she's a huge star, but I honestly hope they don't book her.
Rihanna isn't a good live performer (which is why I hope they put energy into getting Adele and Taylor first) buuuuuut getting Rihanna after her super long hiatus would be nuts
Rage Lil Uzi Vert - Halsey - Roddy Ricch - Khruangbin - Clairo
Travis Scott Rosalia - RUFUS - FKA Twigs - Mitski - CHVRCHES - Polo G
Frank Ocean Lana Del Rey - Lil Nas X - Playboi Carti - Beach House - Ozuna - Jorja Smith
I feel like Lana won't accept less than a headliner at this point. I don't think Coachella will offer it to her, but she put out two albums since she was booked to sub in 2020 and she probably feels she should headline
Also Roddy Ricch's new album didn't hit that well, don't think Clairo is second line big yet

Then why was she liked fifth on that one Hangout line-up, and that we pre-Bannisters/Chemtrails was released. Eh, in one year a lot can happen apparently looking how Lil Baby is apparently a sub and Baby Keem is sitting at the end of second line whereas probably nobody had ever heard of the guy prior to this year. Maybe the next second line rapper needs to explode this year lol. So weird how fast second liners can rise and fall apparently, especially in rap. I mean look at where Vince is sitting right now? Swae Lee might be a good shout for a rap act for the second line aswell. And Clairo is huge dude.

Oh I agree it would be a great booking for the fest and would create huge demand. I just personally am hoping for someone else haha.
Coachella 2023 "the screw it, we're alternative again" lineup:
Arctic Monkeys The Chemical Brothers - Fiona Apple - The War on Drugs - Sam Fender - Foals
Björk The National - HAIM - Beach House Skrillex - Blondie - Father John Misty - Wolf Alice - Alt-J
The Killers - Vampire Weekend Yeah Yeah Yeahs - Le Tigre - Erykah Badu - Glass Animals - Mitski
So a lineup almost exclusively full of acts who have peaked in the past 5-20 years rather than acts peaking right now.
Don't get me wrong, I would FAR prefer these top lines compared to Coachella right now, but...this is Primavera.
For better or for worse, Coachella has decided to focus on what is peaking *right now* - and Primavera is focusing on bringing back legacy and established alternative acts, even if they are not *of the moment*. Two different strategies.
Have you seen how a Primavera looks like nowadays lol.
Massive Attack, Pavement, Nick Cave, The National, The Strokes, Beck, Gorillaz - I mean yes they're booking newer acts on the undercard, but it's pretty clear with those top lines they are targeting a much older audience than Coachella.
I think Primavera this year strikes the perfect balance with current relevant top billed acts Dua Lipa, Meghan, Tyler, and great legacy bookings like Nick Cave, Bauhaus, Pavement, Massive Attack and Gorillaz. I'd love to see Coachella take a similar approach in the future, but that's not going to happen.

Oh I still have respect for Coachella playing to the moment and showcasing the top current talent. I realistically don’t see a top line like this happening, just some fun modeling off their booking style in 2011 vs 2022.

I'd want this too - but have come to terms with the fact that Coachella is going for a different model.
