We are always over-prepaired. I always bring things Mcgiver wouldn't ever need. The only thing that seems to not be enough is strong string/rope and duct tape and you always seem to find yourself saying,"if we hads some more tent poles". I would think that a good item to bring would be water repellent spray (camping supplies) for your tents and rubber cement for those holes that seem to find their way to a spot that drips right on your head.
I ALWAYS forget my ID before going to a show. It's a good thing I won't need it for Roo, cuz even if I stapled it to my forehead, I'd probably forget it was there.

my pack list is pretty well set, however last year we were wishing we had thought to bring fly paper. i dont know if it was the clovers, or one of the neighbors had trash hanging close or what the problem was but it seemed we were inundated with flys by saturday

For me it's more like the one thing (or, okay, several thousand things) that I insist on bringing every year even though I have NEVER ONCE needed them. I won't pretend I haven't forgotten things, but I don't think I've ever forgotten the same thing more than once. And I know the number of unnecessary things I HAVE brought is way bigger than the number of things I've forgotten. It's like I think I'm Bear Grylls preparing to be dropped in the jungle for several weeks.

This^^^ It wasn't just your camp! There were tons and they were persistent little quacks. And garbage bags.. We bought a bunch but they opted to hide in a forgotten bag until we got home. Bringing the whole damn box this year. (Can you still get fly paper?) The other surprise last year was ID's were required in Centeroo at the beer stand in front of Which stage - and we are clearly in the second half of our life and not in need of being carded.
