The 2022 season opens with the return of the Backyard Brawl! In fact, Pitt opens with home games against WVU and Tennessee in weeks 1 and 2. Should be preseason top 25, if we win those 2 games things could get interesting in a hurry.
I don’t care about Wisconsin one way or the other but this would be pretty cool if this actually happened
Wisconsin might hire his friends dad as OC. current Ravens TE Coach
Honestly, kinda makes more sense for him than USC. Wisco would be a lock for the Big Ten West next year, so they’d just have to win one game to go to the CFP. I assume USC will be great long term, but may take a few years to be a fully operational Death Star.

no recievers is a tough sell. His dad has gone on the record that he doesnt really care about winning in college:
"Professional development. We want Caleb to be ready to play when he becomes a pro. You go to college to get prepared for your career. His chosen career path is professional football. We want him to be prepared for when that time comes.”

Why would he want to play in that offense though. Do they even have anyone for him to throw to?

They have a good running back and a solid line. Throw my mom out there at wide receiver and they should win the division

Yea but that’s no fun for a qb that wants to throw the ball.
Ya I didn’t realize they had lost all their receivers when I posted this in the first place. Maybe in a world where he actually transfers in they snag a WR from the portal too.

I couldn’t name a Wisconsin wr. I was questioning why Rattler would want to come to SC too but he brought his all Big 12 TE with him.

Apparently Auburn’s new OC is leaving after being there only a month. It hasn’t come out as to why yet, could be some personal stuff, but it’s going really bad for Harsin in the Plains. Can’t imagine he’s there for too much longer.
unsure how we have pulled this transfer portal class honestly but I hung out with Jaxson Dart and his family for about 2 hours yesterday and they were incredibly nice!

Looks like we'll both be rooting for the USC transfer QBs.
We pulled Kedon Slovis, then added Konata Mumpfield from Akron (who was a Freshman All America WR last year) then added LB Shayne Simon from ND. Feel very good about the work in the portal, plus the entire starting OL deciding to come back and a couple key DL.

Slovis and Dart are both studs imo. i’m interested to see how both of them end up performing this year; definitely seems y’all had a solid portal group coming in as well!
it’s funny because I’ve been rooting for us to grab Dart since his senior year when he only had a BYU offer and then Zach Evans turned on us last minute with his recruitment out of HS, so i’m glad we got second chances with both of them. additionally, I grew up a TCU fan and still really enjoy rooting for them despite being an Ole Miss student so the Evans pick up feels pretty sweet lol

Guy from On3 is reporting Bryan Harsin’s immediate future is in question.
Unrelated but who tf are On3? Haven’t heard of them until like last week when one of the big SC sites that was with Rivals is switching over to them and now I’ve heard of them a few other times, including this.

They’ve been teasing me with articles on Twitter for a while, where you click to read the story and you have to sign up to read it. I finally caved last week.
