sang_xcx I was thinking about the 2008 Clemson-Carolina game the other day (the first Clemson-Carolina game I was allowed to go to.) It was a noon game at Clemson, overcast and misty all game, and Chris Smelly threw 4 interceptions. Despite Smelly playing like shit Spurrier wouldn't put Garcia in the game because I think Garcia pissed off the coaching staff somehow, which was very in character for Garcia.
This game essentially gave Dabo the Clemson job full time. Really asking anyone here but if Carolina had won that game and Dabo hadn't gotten the job, do you think Dabo would've ever gotten a shot at a head coaching gig? He's not a offensive/defensive guru so I wonder if he ever would've even gotten a chance anywhere.
I think if he didn’t get the Clemson job he would have went back to Bama. He probably would have ended up getting a head coach job somewhere else after a couple of years. I think wherever he ended up being successful wherever he went.
I did a pussy ass 5 team parlay with WKU, UNLV, Nevada, FAU and Mercer. Big ass $2.00 bet to win $1.85. I got it to -109, but you would have to win all the time to come out ahead.
I did a 5 game moneyline parlay for yesterday's and today's games and got the payoff up to +184 on $5.00 (so $5 returns me $14 in a win). All Thursday's games hit - Penn State, Pitt, OK State, and Fan Duel is offering me $10.04 (down to $9.96 since this morning). I've still got Michigan State over Western Michigan (-1800) and TCU over Colorado (-520). I was thinking about cashing out while my money was doubled, but I think I'm going to let it ride considering the likelihood that both of these teams win. If anyone disagrees with TCU > Colorado and MSU > WMU (moneyline), let me know.

Can’t say I’m surprised with VT tonight - Pry inherited a shit sandwich. It’s not all on our QB situation, but the turnovers are spotlighted in detail when there is so little offensive talent on the field.
Going to be at the home opener next Saturday night. Talk about the air being let out of that game.

Not to rub salt in the wound, but didn't ODU beat y'all in a big game a few years ago?

Yep. 5 dollars becomes $11 in my pocket and $3 on a 7 game parlay for the rest of the weekend. I got the show bet with Michigan, NC State, OU, Ole Miss, USC, Houston and Clemson to return a healthy $6.21. I don’t play big money because it’s all for fun or charity.
Oh and snow, I never played pick ‘em before but I’m in.

2018. We were 2-0, dominated FSU on Labor Day night that year beforehand. Lost to Liberty last year - we haven’t played JMU since they beat us the last time we met.
gotta love the under still hitting at 52.5 in Georgia - Oregon 6-1 on my bets so far this week though it's about to be 6-2 unless 21 more points are scored in the Houston- UTSA game
