There was a time in my life where I did Taco Bell for lunch 2-3 times a week. It was one of the only fast foody places with vegetarian options. Also, it has Baja Blast Mt Dew.
That said, the service and quality is really hit or miss. Also, it sucks for drive thru for me. I need to add a bunch of sauces which requires unrolling and rerolling burritos in the car and then hoping shit doesn't drip out of the end.
I still sometimes will drive thru just for a Baja Blast and I was reminded yesterday of their Cinnabon donut hole things. They're pretty good.

You can't beat Taco Bell in terms of sheer calories provided per dollar, plus I have many fond memories tied up with late-night Taco Bell runs with good friends in college
It's not necessarily a gourmet option, but it definitely deserves to be in the top 5 or so

I hate Pepsi and Mt. Dew. When I worked at Steak and Ale we all wanted a Taco Bell. When Steak and Ale closed, it became a Taco Bell. Those cinnbon things are fucking delicious.

There are so few places I'll do drive through for food. Starbucks for a pastry or their grilled cheese and a regional chain called Mighty Taco because they put an acceptable amount of sauce on their stuff and wrap it up right so it's not a disaster. That's about it.
