Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
good point about pyramid. if they don't alter the layout from last year, if you are standing to the left of the floor when facing the stage during a big act, you likely will have a difficult time leaving. i'm hoping they open up some sort of pathway on that side so you don't have to climb over the pyramid to get out.
and i forgot to mention the crowd, which you covered well. YDM the crowd is generally mature, skews a bit older than other festivals. you'll see some families during the day. people are certainly partying but i rarely see people really super wasted or in trouble. they are there i'm sure but you i haven't seen them as much as other festivals. the techno uniform is black t-shirt, so wear black if you want to blend in. you'll see some electric forest looking kids and a few day glo type ravers as well, but most people stick with black.
there are some characters i see every year, notably Grandma Techno who is a bit of a Movement celebrity, you'll see her riding around on her scooter taking photos and she is as sweet as she can be (the festival as designated zones at each stage just for her). and there is a guy who looks just like Carl Cox who wears a shirt that says "I am not Carl Cox". you be the judge. i've seen pineapple guy there multiple years i'm pretty sure, and if you see a wookish looking dude with a goat don't panic he's real and so is the goat.
Thank you so much! The only specific question I have is if there’s a particular time I should get my ticket by?
i don't think so. the festival never sells out so you should be good buying whenever. hope to see you there!
Monday really is packed. In a lighter year i could easy see Ben UFO b2b Joy Orbison, Chris Lake, Dax J, DJ Stingray, Four Tet, Goldie b2b LTJ Bukem, Jamie XX, Loco Dice, Nina Kraviz, Richie Hawtin, or Testpilot being perfectly reasonable stage closers. so eleven potential closers across five stages.

The sixth annual pilgrimage to Eden returns in 2020. Full lineup to be announced likely in March, possibly sooner. But prior to that, of course, we will have our "Blind Faith" presales, which are now available on Resident Advisor.
Powder and Shanti Celeste are worth it for that alone. How does Movement not book some of these afters-only artists?
just noticing Powder on there, her RA.700 mix is great.
re: Movement's booking strategy it seems they book some reliable big or middle card names that will bring in fans, with the lower card or stage opener type names are more local talent. which leaves a lot of room for the afters to book some great names that maybe lack name recognition amongst a wider audience. just a thought i could be full of shit.
it's also easier to be a paxahau apologist when the movement lineup is so solid this year lol.

updated. will likely continue to tweak artist order and set lengths and stage start/end times but this at least puts artists on their correct stages in rough order.

this looks a lot like how the schedule will be ordered. but if that's the case hawtin will be performing in the middle of the day which is nuts. possible he has an official after that night?
btw here's a link for a movement whatsapp chat i've been in for the past year or so. feel free to join if you want more movement chat. i met most of these folks last year and they are good people.
LOL I recommend stealing some time away to at least see Special Request and The Black Madonna.
i'm sure i'll be bouncing around, definitely want to catch some of Special Request and The Black Madonna. plus i'll probably be at the drumcode party that night so i really don't need to be at the mainstage that day.

gettin old
if he plays his set at 2pm he'll have plenty of time to eat his supper by 5pm and watch the local news.
This is the first message board I've ever been on, the only reason I joined is because I love Bonnaroo and wanted to read and talk about it all year long.
I was going to try to volunteer at Bonnaroo this year, but it is sounding like I won't be able to make that happen. Might end up here instead, I'm a big fan of the lineup
