I am not liking it either. Sorry, there just looked like something may be going on there with you and Browell and you are both in the group of voters I am looking at. So having you in a runoff with him was a good move and now I see that some opportunistic shit may have happened after it. Which becomes telling sometimes. That doesn't mean I still don't think it could be you, I am keeping you on my radar, but I don't like the tone going on here.

If you are town, I can see how that may be frustrating. And I do realize this is a game. But the history that exists in this game makes it look no bueno. Know what I mean? Also, the 30 car peepee pile up on Rummy the minute one person says she may be suspicious has been an overused Mafia tactic in the past, so it really raises red flags for me when it starts getting this thick. There truly is reason to consider her. But this ain't it, buddy.

i agree he's being a bit more quiet than last game (though his post count wasn't high then either, and he would get busy for moderately long stretches of time and then pop back in to engage)
there seems to be little consensus about who all is sus at the moment compared to last game when everyone seemed to be decently quick to turn on 1 or 2 people even if we found it to be misguided later on

you did that last game though it seemed like you didn't put a ton of thought into it whereas Browell is claiming he did a read through, thought about it then placed that vote. Kinda seems like a move to appear new, but Browell established himself last game as being surprisingly polished for a new player so idk why he'd need to make that move.
i understand your qualm with my situation here but ngl I took the hardest test of my life last night and didnt get to read through as expected so that occurred in about a 5 minute span in the shower before class this morning

Yeah. Browell, you are doing fine either way. If you are town, these are things we all do. But he has a good point that if you are Mafia, this is a pretty good strategy to use.

yeah I get it. i’m not expecting to be a full town read here because I understand the qualms and such but i really don’t see so much of how im playing different/much worse than last game besides being more absent and out of the loop
which i guess could also be a bad thing because i’m not entirely new and can’t really be the same player i was in my very first game. then again, yes ive pulled the newbie card this game but also didn’t really think it was that rough or sus to not have a full grip at this point in my mafia playing. i’ll let things play out more and figure it out silently, regardless

Which jesters specifically are you referencing? I'm leading a zoom meeting now so will respond when it's over. I'm kinda frustrated in this game.

Top Jesters are Pablo and Dan. idk what jortles is doing - he def might be town, but i think his choice to get me into the runoff over the other options is very strange. i would think a townie jortles would read my legit frustrations right now as, in fact, legit/genuine. i imagine you do. i hope you do.
specifically i'd love to hear your thoughts on 1) dan's reply to my mentioning suspicions of him before the round ended, (namely, his claim that i was trying to self preserve - if this is is me as maf with an attempt at self preservation, i dont think i could possibly be worse at it...), and 2) pablo finally deciding to join us wherein he just states "rummy is full of shit" without referencing what or how or why, and then voting me but saying he's sus of browell too who IMO seems townie for sure)
I want to address this, but I think some of it has been addressed by the principals already.
1. I'm not really sure what happened toward the end of the round between Dan and you. I'm struggling because I don't find you sus, at all, and don't find Dan sus as of now. I think Dan said you could be self preserving as town, which is how I read things right now.
2. I thought Pablo's post was weird, but again he sort of addressed it. I'm not really sus of Pablo at this point.
I did name the two people I'm sus of, Jortles and Otter, and could have voted for either/did vote for Otter. I think we're all spinning right now because it feels like the whack didn't point to much generally and where we've all had thoughts from it, not a lot of those thoughts overlap or are thought of as consensus. But I really doubt that Silver was inspector, so I think the conversation that was spurred on D2 should help the inspector make a good guess tonight, hopefully survive til tomorrow/D3, and then we can be set on the right path.
