My guess is this has to do with the way the second round votes came in on page 2, but Im struggling right now to make sense of it. Def doubt it has to do with my page one switch / snipe.
This seems just a tad bit inconsistent brotherrrrrr. You voted for Rooloo over Maddog, first, because you didn't want to be a make up vote. But by that point Rooloo had already done his little playful defense that gave you a full on town read.

I'm taking a page from your book - not necessarily revealing all of my cards all of the time. It didn't go rooloo's way on D1, so I didn't need to think much more about it. I do find it interesting, and probably points to a town v town runoff, that Maddog was the one to go.

Not sure if that was a great strategic use of being secretive with your true thoughts. You almost really got mafia - voting to kill off town. Only to reveal you actually thought Rooloo was Town all along. Boom! How will mafia recover?!

i agree he's being a bit more quiet than last game (though his post count wasn't high then either, and he would get busy for moderately long stretches of time and then pop back in to engage)

I don't know that you didn't mean to. You could have voted for teammate Otter and then been given an out to take it back.
But your vote caught my eye mostly because, as I did my analysis, I landed on Otter being one of the people I was sus of, it wasn't much more than that.

It's really tough to play this game as a townie and stay consistent with your thoughts. I often feel like the people who are best organized are mafia, so your words sort of fit with my suspicions of you.

You don't find it odd that the whack votes for Otter and then Jortles immediately moves to save him? I find that odd. Also, we know that *usually* we have a maf in the first runoff, and the people who fall out of the runoffs are good candidates.
I'm convincing myself to vote Otter, so I'll do that.
These revotes sucked. Even worse Pablo votes first for Otter and not for one of the two revoters, which gives us less information because they both have less options. Browell chooses Rooloo over Maddog. Then Maddog is left with only Browell to vote for. Maddog the one left to drop out and Rooloo + Dan would have been the revotes for round 3
Feels like there is something in there but I'm struggling. Could be as simple as Maddog or this vote switch may not have been the thing. Would like to see if someone else has any ideas.

I tried to just look over the game last night while we were waiting, but I was a little drinky drinky. Going to look again this afternoon now that I'm a little more clear headed and we have the whack, but at first blush the switch to MD really stands out, so the Rooloo voters are interesting to me. They are also the folks Silver voted AGAINST. Most Inspectors avoid voting with the name they have. If he was Inspector, I would assume his name is here. Could def point to MD himself.
We're all a mess of paradoxes. Believing in things we know can't be true. We walk around carrying feelings too complicated and contradictory to express. But when it all becomes too big, and words aren't enough to help get it all out, there's always music.

I guess not loving it, but not sure what other direction to go in. If maf wasn’t really namedropped a lot yesterday it makes sense since they’d be grasping at straws for the whack.
