So this might be difficult to discuss since by it's nature it's going to have major spoilers. So rather than put it in the TV thread I started a new thread so people can avoid it altogether.
How can this thread spoil things if we use spoiler tags? Well the only way we can talk in a thread like this is by putting the name of the show before the spoiler tag. So therefore it is automatically "spoiled" that some devastating death will occur in the show. This isn't a spoiler to me really, but i wanted to give people the option to not view this thread at all if they consider that a spoiler.
regardless this thread may be just one post long, because the most devastating death in tv history is from The Wire:
With both Game of Thrones and The Wire, the death posted here wasn't the death I guessed it would be before clicking on the spoiler, which says a lot about the numbers of deaths on each show. (The Walking Dead death selected is obvious, on one level, although you could make the case that another death was just as devastating, in terms of who it was, if not how it happened.)
