if i imagine myself pulling off the interstate on a long road trip and need a recharge, and all these places are listed on the Exit sign, McDonald's is the last place I'm going.
I'm torn between McDonald's, because nothing on that menu is worth eating except an Egg McMuffin and an Oreo McFlurry (if the ice cream machine is ever working/turned on), or Cookout simply because it feels right to vote for something I've never had at the midway point.

I've looked, and it appears the closest Cook Out to me is west of Ocean City, MD in Salisbury, about 30 miles west it looks like. Maybe it's worth a trip to try it. My brother raved about it when he lived in South Carolina for two years.
But yes, after Steak and Shake, Cook Out needs to go next.
And Teddy Flair I’m so sorry about Arby’s. My condolences. When I was at college, the cafeteria food was shit. But I was poor. So on the weekend, my big splurge was an Arby’s roast beef sandwich and a box of Whoopers from Kmart.

I kept confusing Steak n Shake for Shake Shack.
I remember seeing something on Route 9 in Chestnut Hill, but that was a Shake Shack.

Since a lot of you are adamant about the merits of CFA, I’ve been thinking it over and I’ve decided to give their chicken and homophobia a try. Will report back.
