I don’t know and I don’t know. The white candy snow things (nanpereli’s ?) aren’t al that by themselves. And im down with semi-sweet chocolate but it’s not at the top of my list except when mixed with other chips in cookies. I feel like white “chocolate” is the bottom chip out of milk chocolate, semisweet, dark and caramel.

I don't shop hobby lobby either. Also, what's buncha crunch? Is that crunch and munch? I don't eat either. One more thing, haven't been to the movies in 3 years and haven't eaten peanut (or pretzel) M&M's in even longer. 🤷♀️ 🤪

But would you agree they kind of hit you better the older you get? I wouldn’t have been able to eat like 80% cocoa - if that’s the right term - when I was younger and looking more for that sugaryness. But now that all has its place whereas I still love milk chocolate but not in the form of a Hershey’s bar or Nestle’s.

Fuck. Maybe I should know this but does M&M/Mars use slave chocolate? I bought a bag of peanut ones today. But if that’s the shit, I’ll make it a point to just buy Tony’s Chocolonely when I’m at Fresh Market for sparkling rainwaters or fresh pasta and keep that on hand. I had a bag of Lindt’s truffle balls the other day too, but those got coopted as did my pink dove hearts.

I haven't eaten them in a longer period of time than the last time I went to the movies. Idk. It doesn't have anything to do with either of those reasons, though. 🤷♀️

Technically, white chocolate is not a chocolate—and it doesn't really taste like one—because it doesn't contain chocolate solids. When cocoa beans are removed from their pods, fermented, dried, roasted, cracked open, and their shells discarded, what results is a nib. Chocolate nibs are ground into a paste called chocolate liquor. Chocolate liquor can be separated into cocoa solids, which provide the flavor, and cocoa butter, which is the fat. Though white chocolate contains extracted cocoa butter, it lacks the component that defines real chocolate.
