Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
Would encourage you all to check out video from Sufjan's run of festival dates in 2016. Good luck falling asleep during that
And even AoA on record, tbh. Even albums like Illinois that have plenty of slower songs like Casimir are counteracted by the likes of “Come on Feel the Illinoise,” “They are Night Zombies” etc. that I sure as fuck would nottttt nap to
Considering you've found the need to respond to my threads as if you are threatened by me I offer you some peace my confused counterpart. May you find peace in your restless soul.
I know you said you meant for it to be album listening but I can’t help think of seeing tho bands live. Who would make me want to stay up late? Pearl Jam was the clear first choice. Next I think is The National.
The only two shows I've ever fallen asleep during were Animal Collective's Bonnaroo 2013 and a club show by The Kills. Both standing up. Not sure what that means.

I know y'all love Sufjan, but "nap band" isn't inherently pejorative and you're delusional if you think the guy hasn't made a ton of very sleepy music. He's a very appropriate entry on this list.
Deerhunter makes no sense here, seems like a very specific axe to grind from the nomination crew. They have dreamy material, but they're the only band on this list that you could realistically describe as punk or post-punk. There's no point arguing with the Tame crowd on Inforoo, but once everyone gets that out of their system, Deerhunter needs to go.

Word. The only show I slept at was Godspeed but it was a sit down show and I got a little excited during the pregame. I was out for like 3 minutes lol

I fell asleep during the Strokes’ afternoon set at Governors Ball 2014. Unpopular opinion, I know, but they’re definitely among the most boring bands I’ve seen, IMO.

That seems to be a fairly common opinion around here. At the very least the idea that they are underwhelming live is.

They've been on cruise control ever since Julian got sober. The shows back in the day had a 50/50 chance of being amazing or horrifying, but everything lately has just been them going through the motions.
