haha. Go look at Kirk Cousins’ statistics by quarter and you’ll see why.
Using your favorite QB rating, Kirk is the #1 ranked QB in the first quarter (I didn’t count a couple backups that were better ie Minshew). Yet in the 2nd Quarter, he plummets to #12 (taking out a ton of backups that were better). In the 3rd Quarter, he falls to around #18. In the 4th quarter, he improves to #7. However if you look at the last 2 minutes, Kirk is down in the #20s with some of the worst QBs.
For any Viking fan, this should sound familiar. Kirk Cousins is the ultimate 1st Quarter and garbage time QB out there. He pads his stats and any time the game reaches clutch time, he disappears like a cheap magician.
As a comparison, the 4 best QBs in the last 2 minutes: 1. Aaron Rodgers (League MVP) - 123.7 2. Matthew Stafford (Super Bowl winning QB) - 120.2 3. Joe Burrow (Super Bowl losing QB) - 119.1 4. Jimmy Garappalo (NFC championship losing QB) - 112.3 (Generous) 21. Kirk Cousins -78.4
Ironically, all three Saints QBs (Winston, Hill, Siemian) we’re better than Kirk Cousins in the last 2 minutes. I counted them as 1, hence why calling Kirk 21st is generous. esteban
And at some point, if your defense has the worst random stat of all time, to think the offense may not contribute to that is a bit silly. Aaron Rodger led teams don’t have defenses playing 686 out of 686…

It was funny but I was also laughing because it reminded me of the DWI-kings late 80’s/early 90’s. They had an insane run and were aptly named in the Bottom 10 which was a nationally syndicated newspaper feature. Also I’m buzzed out at the pool and the umbrella just blew out the table but I one-handed that bitch and put the pole back in the hole. The WASHINGTON Football Team. I can see Seattle fans maybe being pissy about it but unless there's another team in DC I don't really care.
They're a third tier franchise at best these days regardless of how much they want to flex.
