I hope that I post the thread in the proper section; if I'm wrong, please tell me and I'll replace it. I see many college students here, so I need your advice. Those who've written cover letters , how did you do it? I ask it because my writing skills are far from being good, but I want my admission process be successful. Are there any guides you consider effective? Can you share them with me? I tried to find the information alone, but none of the resources turned out to be useful.
UPD: I found a good solution for my problem and I want to share it here. I relied on people’s help, but I kept trying to carry out my own research that turned out to be very useful. Perhaps, someone will consider this information useful and will need it. The first source that helped me was Stanford blog hai.stanford.edu/news/blog — I got some time-managing tips and recommendations that will help me spend less time on homework and be more productive. Admissions board recommended me to submit a cover letter, and I decided to use this chance to showcase myself. I have never written such papers before even when applying for a job, that's why it was difficult for me. But then I found a guide on writing a cover letter for college student, and I suppose that it'll help me to be accepted. By the way, stanforddaily.com/ newspaper turned out to be a great source of general information about my future studying, so I already know what expects me. If someone still has any questions, don’t hesitate to contact me.
