This is definitely a festival that greatly benefits getting in on earlybird pricing and booking a room as soon as the venue is announced. My festival pass was $250 and I scored a 2 queen room at the Resorts Room Hilton for about $650 after resort fees, which I'll split with my buddy. I fucking love this full lineup, too, so I couldn't be much happier.
Would have totally done early bird if they hadn't gone on sale while I was literally at the festival last year
Interpol & The Walkmen 11.23 I Am Morbid/Suffocation 11.26 King Diamond 11.29 Sadistic Intent/Massacre 11.30 70K Tons Of Metal 2025 Hell's Heroes 2025 Sick New World 2025 Maryland Deathfest 2025

Yeah I suppose that was one of the benefits of sitting last year out for me.
The Juliana Theory is by far the most out of place booking I've ever seen on a festival poster. Christian pop-emo wtf?
Haha oh man. Had no idea they were a Christian band. Makes their appearance that much goofier considering how many overt anti-Christian bands are on this lineup.

I don’t think they’re really Christian rock any more than a lot of those early 2000s emo adjacent bands that had Christian overtones like Taking Back Sunday and Brand New
All I know is they were on Tooth and Nail records and the Christian girls at my high school wore their shirts constantly. Nearly saw them once, Glassjaw was opening for some reason (EYEWTKAS era) but we left after GJ
Satyricon, Monster Magnet, and Wiegedood no longer playing.
Rotting Christ, Cephalic Carnage, Cloak, Big Black Delta, Motorbabe, NO/MÁS, Behold the Monolith, The Munsens, Mother Iron Horse, Black Sabbitch, Salem's Bend, and The Koffs added.
Sat: Suicidal Tendencies Warpaint At The Gates Boris Ulver Tribulation Liturgy Blood Incantation
Sun: Mercyful Fate High On Fire She Past Away Katatonia Nitzer Ebb Amenra Liars William Basinski The Body
Other suggestions?
I just saw Frozen Soul a couple of weeks ago, and I've got to say they put on one of the most fun death metal shows I've ever seen. Was completely surprised and blown away. 200 Stab Wounds is also supposed to be a total blast live. Both will be complete knuckle-dragging death metal sets, but surely a good time.
Seeing as you're checking out She Past Away, you might be interested in Twin Tribes, Mareux, and The KVB.
Bombers is a Motorhead cover band fronted by Abbath of Immortal, which is hilarious and awesome.
Primitive Man might scratch an itch for you if you like The Body. Much more oppressive and bleak though.
ABSOLUTELY catch Mizmor and Indian like someone else mentioned.
And I'll just throw in Year of No Light because from the videos I've seen they put on one hell of a post metal set.

Finally got my tickets to this! Anyone else staying onsite?
Yes sir! Got a damn good deal in the Hilton side. I originally booked a room at Circus Circus to save a bit of money and then realized how much I'd hate having to walk back and forth between the two. Incredibly stoked to be staying right in the action this year.

Fuck yeah! Staying on site makes the fest a dream. I'm at Hilton too.

Nitzer Ebb announced yesterday that they are out. I imagine behind the scenes some other drops are happening. Less than two weeks to go and once again no set times yet. Get ready for a lineup shakeup!

Ugh that’s annoying, I was looking forward to seeing them. As long as Ulver is still in, I won’t complain much.

Yeah dude. Ulver has been eluding me for years. Absolutely my most important band on the lineup.
I'll be interested to hear how this goes down at Resorts World. Stayed there last year and just got back from staying at Mandalay Bay for the first time in probably 20-ish years. Would have been so cool to watch Cannibal Corpse on that beach stage...

Paradise Lost for Sunday, 100%. One of my favorite records from last year.
I don’t know anything going on in that Saturday slot though.

Frozen Soul is a pretty sick death metal band from Dallas. In vein of Entombed and other Swedish death.
