wow shocker I was totally right. Everyone that was in yesterday's runoff is suddenly no longer suspicious.
So, to recap - yesterday's runoff LLL/Tranter/Potent.
LLL - exiled, no longer eligible to be voted Potent - "doesn't count, wasn't really in danger" Tranter - for some reason Silver isn't voting for him under this theory?
I have no idea if Silver is mafia or town, but he's acting super sketchy and advocating for no runoff on D3 so we have a "better" runoff on D4...I must just be to stupid to understand what that even means.
I'm not voting tranter because I think he's town. Although every time I think he's mafia he ends up being town so lmao. I think he's putting in genuine, helpful information right now whereas you and cum have kind of skirted through this game. So that's why I want a runoff with you and cum.
It's just basic poll management, I said d3 the runoff should have been me, tranter , and lll and the d4 runoff should be cum and Potent. Think of it like presidential primaries

Again, the only runoff that was possible when I voted was you and cum. I'm not gonna vote for myself just as much as you're not gonna vote for yourself. Yes I'm probably happier in voting for cum but I'm also happy in voting for you.

Joke police over here. I have been contributing, I’ve just fallen off. We’ve been left kinda high and dry this game with no real good voting information and tbh I feel like I’m completely in the dark here. But just posting “gut” reads isn’t something I do — they can be harmful for town if and when they’re wrong.
I don't think SFA/LLL/Jortles would be one full mafia group
But we don't and won't ever know SFA's role. However, we can put this scenario to bed if LLL is exiled and we still have a day 4. I just think if we don't exile LLL now, we will just exile LLL day 4. Why not just do it now? Instead of making a runoff to "investigate" two scenarios- why not one runoff to investigate the LLL possibility, and then one runoff to discuss the other possibilities? I feel like Tranter and I operate the same ? so probably pit us together day 4. But pitting both of us against LLL is just bad poll management.

It is absolutely not me. I can't say for certain that it wasn't SFA but I really don't think so. That is why I am pretty, pretty, pretty, pretttty sure there are two among Silver, Tranter, Potent and Cum. It is just figuring out which two. Silver and Tranter following you when you voted for me and the push to just vote someone off with no run-off is very suspicious. One could certainly be town being misguided by, but one of them is pretty likely Mafia. That is a pretty unusual town move to just want to vote an unk player off with no runoff. You get zero benefit from that as town. No voting data, a likely easy, incorrect target... all this behooves Mafia not town.
After games Rummy 500 , you frequently express to me the exact frustrations in a scenario that is currently happening to me. Just want to point that out. I am not Mafia. I am being targeted and I am correct with my theory. I know this because I know I am not Mafia so I have some extra information so can say for certain where the Mafia are.
You of course have no way of absolutely knowing that, but I am asking you to believe me and trust me on this. I don't game you like this when I am Mafia because I feel icky.
im not sold on you being mafia, truly. i do think you should be in the runoff due to the rooloo whack pointing to you a bit (alongside it pointing to SFA a bit, but he dead now), but i was the one immediately pushing back on silv's "let's just skip the runoff" foolishness.

These post shaped some of my opinions early on and I’ll say they haven’t really changed much. The amount of effort tranter put into this game reads as town but who knows. Last game he made rooloo get into some fake banter with him as well and I haven’t really read anything that felt as objectively forced as it did last game either. A Jortles/tranter/silver mafia would be a really obnoxious game after all, but I want to believe for my sanity there’s only one mafia left.
Now in regards to potent, my read has gone back and forth all game. Something I’ve noticed before is that when potent is mafia he acts very agreeable for the most part. Didn’t make a big stinker when I initially voted for him D3 or anything. Made this post in regards to silvers strategy earlier in the game. That’s it that’s all I have to go off because these midday whacks and guesses were a terrible idea and I have to learn how to play a game I just got good at again.

Your passion makes me think you are town, but your ideas make me less sure. I think it would be weird for a mafia to be arguing this so hard, so I guess I think we are townies that just disagree on strategy, which is fine. We're just 2 of 7 voices.

We can discuss it postgame, but to be clear, you didn't advocate for a runoff on D3. You had one post where you said it, and then you almost immediately reversed course and said no runoffs and stuck to that the rest of the day. So I'm confused why you are claiming you wanted a runoff on D3 now.

But essentially what I was saying is that any runoff that included LLL was bad poll management. There was no other person that voted for me. And people who voted for me was a group that all of us agreed that should be looked at. Thus, we should've just eliminated that group and moved forward and not let mafia manipulate anything. Instead we got a ridiculously long runoff that basically led us nowhere.
But I was also hoping that it'd be inferred that if we are gonna go down the runoff route we should look at groups together. My name was brought up a lot alongside Tranters, thus we should've had a runoff that decided which of us were to face off against LLL. Instead we wasted a day by just letting tranter switch to LLL off potent and no one even looked at potent cause we were all absorbed with the bigger picture.
And that's what I mean when I say cum and potent should have a runoff against each other. They both have been brought up a lot together and occupy the same "coasting" behavior and so a runoff between the two makes sense.
But instead we mixed all of these processes up and made a mess.
