I am ready to step back into concert venues for the first time since 2019, but given my advanced age and having a couple of the milder co-morbidities, I want to take things slow until the numbers come down even more.
I'm going to a couple of shows this month which are more "must see" for me, personally, but I've got single tickets to Wet Leg at the Paradise, Tame Impala at TD Garden, and Squid at Brighton Music Hall which are free to whomever wants them. They're all e-tickets, so I can easily transfer them to whichever e-mail address you use with LiveNation/Ticketmaster.
All are free, I just thought I'd pass them along rather than let them lapse unused. The Wet Leg and Squid shows are general admission club shows, and the Tame Impala show is a single balcony seat.
Just DM me here if you want any of those tickets. (The last time I checked, Ticketmaster wasn't offering the resale option for any of these, probably because none of them are sold out, so I can't resell them to recoup some of the cost.)

Thanks, but that just seems like a lot of work. Plus, if the shows aren't sold out, why would someone buy from me, rather than through LiveNation?
We're all a mess of paradoxes. Believing in things we know can't be true. We walk around carrying feelings too complicated and contradictory to express. But when it all becomes too big, and words aren't enough to help get it all out, there's always music.
I've also decided to skip the Guided By Voices show at the Royale on Saturday night. I really want to see Massachusetts cases drop down to below 500 per day before I do indoor venue shows, although I may make an exception to that for Nick Cave & Warren Ellis, especially since the Wang has installed a heavy-duty air purification system. (I love GBV, but I've seen them six times over the years and the setlists of the last couple of years haven't excited me.)
Unfortunately, I've got a paper ticket to the GBV show, so that would be more difficult to transfer, but I could meet someone in Davis Square/Porter Square/Arlington on Sat to hand off the (also free) ticket.
piggybacking this thread to say I’m giving away my Yves Tumor 4/3 boston ticket, same night as LCD and resale plumetted to stubhubs min of $6. First person to pm me gets it
Nobody snapped up Wet Leg, Tame Impala was claimed, and there's one G.A. ticket for Squid still available at Brighton Music Hall on Fri, March 25. It's an e-ticket, so I can easily transfer it to you.
Squid = UK post-punk with prog leanings
(I'm beyond nervous about going back into indoor venues, but I'm going to the Nick Cave & Warren Ellis show. Numbers are low, I'm 3x Moderna, and my co-morbidities are on the mild end. I've long felt that lack of joy in life is the single worst thing for your health, so I've absolutely got to do this. Once I've gone to a few shows and tested negative in the days afterwards, I'll probably feel a lot more comfortable with going to shows again...wearing an N95 mask for now.)
