Oh Man he put the stapler in the jello! Such a prankster! Comedy gold!
I get The Office was the next big sitcom after Friends, but it went on for way too long, has a plethora of jokes that have aged poorly, and has a bombardment of awkward, embarrassing humor that is hard to swallow in large portions. Had a good run making it this far, but definitely needs to go sooner than later.
We're all a mess of paradoxes. Believing in things we know can't be true. We walk around carrying feelings too complicated and contradictory to express. But when it all becomes too big, and words aren't enough to help get it all out, there's always music.
The last 3 seasons of The Office are worse than anything on this list, but there's still no way it deserves to get bounced before B99 or Malcolm.
Two of these shoes wouldn’t even exist without The Office. Is someone going to argue they’ve done that style better? I’d like to hear it.
The workplace comedy wasn't a new thing The Office invented. It only added in the mockumentary aspect. Lest we even forget The Office is also a remake.
B99 has more in common with Scrubs than The Office, as earlier pointed out. Parks and Rec had a rough first season and then got better and better as it went on whereas The Office peaked at season 5 and and got worse and then just kept going for some reason.
The Office and Parks and Rec also had different themes and styles of comedy. The Office was about incompetence and Parks and Rec optimism. The Office is cringe/awkward humor where you had a handful of plain, normal people having to deal with morons and socially inept coworkers, while Parks and Rec starts in a similar place and more fully embraces silly goofball humor with every character being eccentric in their own way.
you guys voted out the show about teenagers smoking weed in the 70s way before you voted off the cop show. this forum is full of narcs.
I'm all about ACAB but I'm also about quality characters and funny dialogue. Andrew Brauer saying "That's not Cheddar, that's just some common b*tch" and "Bone?!?!" is better than anything I've heard on MITM.
Also, no one who has a blue lives matter bumper sticker watched B99 - too many people of color and homosexuality for their liking.

The idea that someone can enjoy an absurdist comedy television series about police and not also believe real-life police abuse their power and need to be held accountable while the institutions that support them are thrown out and replaced is an interesting one.

And instead of saying all of your goodbyes - let them know you realize that life goes fast - It's hard to make the good things last-you realize the sun doesn't go down - It's just an illusion caused by the world spinning round
I like the first season of parks more than most but I feel like it's sort of refreshing going back and not having tom, Ron, April, Andy all being way too much
