Sitcom Survivor Round 13

I can't wait to come for Seinfeld, but I'm voting "Curb" first. I've never watched it, and I have never felt the urge to.

First round I had to think a bit about my choice, but think I'm going Parks here. Even at the peak of its powers, it was always more charming than funny. Never made me laugh as hard as the other shows left above

(although there's nothing wrong with being charming to be clear, much harder than it looks to pull it off well without being cloying or annoying)

At this point every show has a flaw or blemish that can be argued against except for maybe Curb Your Enthusiasm. I've honestly never seen 30 Rock apart from excerpts and clips, so I won't vote for it. But if it makes it to the final 2 I'll def vote against it.

The Office really needs to go before these others. Yeah, seasons 2 through 5 are fire, and 1 and 9 are... decent. The rest keeps it from being as good as the other remaining shows. I mean for fucks sake when the lead and main comedic ingredient of the show leave you're supposed to bow out in grace, not drag it on for another three years.

After that probably Community, as much as I love it, the main problem isn't season 4, but the fact that its comedic style and tone kept changing (either for better or worse) and main cast members kept leaving for whatever reason.

If Community gets pulled down, I get it, but I will say that from a person that who "doesn't" enjoy Curb (meaning I obviously know the quality parts, just certain things don't work for me) -- Parks should burn first for it's bad first season. 30 Rock next. 

30 Rock was a bit wobbly at the very beginning and during portions of Season 4 but was otherwise remarkably consistent for its full run. Just an unparalleled joke machine

Also if we're talking about shows being discredited for weaker seasons, S5 of Arrested Development is basically unwatchable

Time for Parks and Rec to go. Show does not hold up at all

So much better than Parks. Having taste is such a burden sometimes.

wow! i focus on my work for one day and y'all vote parks off.

a real shame. at a minimum i think arrested development should have gone first, and maybe even the office.

i don't expect community to win even though it's my favorite show. i completely accept it's a quirky little show with a small but extremely passionate fanbase. it's not a show for everyone, it's just the perfect show for me.
