We're all a mess of paradoxes. Believing in things we know can't be true. We walk around carrying feelings too complicated and contradictory to express. But when it all becomes too big, and words aren't enough to help get it all out, there's always music.

I think I’m starting to realize that I might not watch enough anime to enjoy a Porter set anymore.
While the sound issues were terrible I still enjoyed what James Blake was able to bring. LCD was perfect as usual.
The line situation was insanely better this year. Ubered from work at 6:00 pm in Miami Beach and was front of Tycho by 6:40. Bless that free water as well.

I would like to tell you that I have spoken to and hung out with dozens upon dozens of Inforooers in my time here. But I have to tell you, no one represents the vim and vigor of Inforoo the way that Dan808 does. Holy shit. What an absolute force of nature this motherfucker is. Just as powerful as it gets.

Maybe I'm just a prisoner of the moment, or maybe it was just the acid trip, but my lord what a fantastic day of music. This festival is blowing my expectations out of the water.
Also, LCD!!!!! First time seeing them and they have catapulted into the top-5 shows I've ever seen. James is a mad genius.
I'll do my best to find some of yall today. Someone drop the WhatsApp link again? Or DM me? I'll be going in a much smaller group/solo today and will be more nimble to get around.

Had such a fun night yesterday.
Does anyone have any food recs at the festival? I just grabbed a slice of spicy pie last night, but I’m expecting to need something a little more substantial to hold me over tonight since we already started drinking 😮💨
Definitely not as many people as last year, which made moving around and finding breathing room at the stages much easier... But also, it just looked a bit sad. Sound issues throughout most of the stages. I won't be at the show today. Selling my bracelet.
Had to leave at 1:30 cuz the babysitter bailed on me. See y'all at Hula... Really need those Suwannee vibes.

Right outside the festival there’s a good sandwich spot called La Sandwicherie. Had that right before we got it in yesterday. That whole area of NW 2nd Avenue and 23rd-26th street has a bunch of good eats for not ridiculous prices if you’re looking for good food.
Also, I gotta add the security getting in was obnoxious, screaming at me cuz I was walking in "the girls" line. I'm so tired of this girls over here, boys over there nonsense. Do not hassle me. I'm going in with my friends. We aren't separating at the gate. I do not care who checks me. I am nonbinary and yes I have a beard, get into it. Festivals should be leading the charge of inclusiveness and not separating people by what's in between their legs.

Surprised more people aren't talking about Stott. Such a great mix of dissonant/abrasive while still bringing the jams. Top 3 for me yesterday was LCD, Marias, & Stott. Seen LCD 4x now and they never get old.

Marias were amazing!
LCD, Marias and ARTBAT for me. And of course, True Vine.
There were people FaceTiming the ARTBAT show back to the Ukraine and those folks were dancing and crying on the other end. Special moment.

I caught the end of the set, but I gotta say it was juicy af. The S3QU3NC3 stage has really been consistent with the heat, easily my favorite stage at III Points.

So glad to hear that ARTBAT was awesome. They were in DC last weekend, playing a free show. I really wish I went.
