I'm sus of how you zero'd in on Rummy pretty early and all your claims of her being mafia I'm not really buying atm (Cum and Potent have brought up things I find more believable, though I'm still not sold.)

this is helpful to read laid out like this because i've actually been thinking maybe he is town after all because of how goddamn tunnel-visioned he is on me. thats what he did as town last game on theo, a fellow townie, so it has made me feel like that's maybe what is happening here again (and it is very frustrating)

as far as i remember Potent votes for whoever hasn't been exiled D1 for a while, but that initial voting strategy might have changed by now. I know he voted me D1 like 10 games in a row though

meh i dont put much stock into this claim at all.
maf definitely sometimes throw votes on each other out the date d1. sure maybe they more often opt not to but it isn't notably uncommon to do so.

he was coming off as maf to me. thats why i campaigned. now i see he had a diff special role but if he hasnt been inspector ever before, it is pretty reasonable that i misread him for being maf because he didnt seem vanilla town to me.

that’s fine, when I first pointed this out I acknowledged that sometimes unfortunate reads happen. If it is just a mistake, then fair but it’s certainly worth a look.
This was a question for JTR tho. I don’t think his reasoning is consistent.

There's a 3-3 split on Rooloo and Teddy (obviously this is my thought process and I know I'm town so I'm not considering this 4-3 given I was on Teddy.) Teddy wasn't mafia as we know so there wasn't really any reason for mafia to avoid voting for him so I think it's a decent assumption that there was at least one mafia on him.
In regards to Rummy pushing for Rooloo and Teddy runoff, I'm with you in that I don't really understand why she did that. I know she said she had a role read on Teddy but I don't know why Rooloo had to be matched up with him. D1 is a crap shoot and overzealous townies will push for runoffs in D1 a lot which I always scratch my head at. She also could be a mafioso pushing for that runoff. So basically I see your point about Rummy pushing for that runoff as a non-factor in my thinking of if she's mafia or not.

I’m not really worried about tranter right now bc he’s acting pretty much the same way he was the last time two times he was town. i also really do feel like rummy was reaching early on in the game. Or at the very least I know that I’m town and her argument for me being mafia felt like the least logical thing I’ve ever heard from someone who is usually of sound logic. Idk.
I’m changing up my read on JTR for now

Given that town tranter is either really good mafia bait or that he is actually mafia, a tranter/rummy/potent runoff just seems safer.
I think the movement around LD is something to look at going forward, jtr/potent
also looking back I think it's very telling why Teddy was the one to do the last 4/no votes split instead of the usual me or potent, maybe that stuck out and teddy voters should take priority over other threads
Just bringing up this post again, he made this and then he was whacked. Obviously this implicates a lot of people between JTR and Potent on one side, and Tranter/Cum/JTR/Rummy on the other, but JTR is the crossover there and should be in this runoff. Really not a fan of how Rummy basically ran D1, and I'm unsure of Cum and Tranter right now. Potent is the wildcard for me. Rummy and JTR runoff would be ideal

I also didn't understand where this was coming from, even less so than the Rooloo Teddy runoff. I tried to go back a couple times to see what was going on there but I really don't know.
These two things that were both really early in the game where Rummy isn't making a lot of sense to me makes me feel more like she's town rather than mafia. Like.. is mafia spinning these kinds of narratives this early in the game? Still not giving her a town read though, she does maybe feel a little odd? That's just where I'm at right now.

I will happily speak to this. I think we’ve talked in prior games’ reflections/once both dead about how ill sometimes as townie push on folks I have question marks about to try and help form reads.
This actually is no secret. I’ve stated such in game threads before too.
So yeah I pushed at you and tranter to gauge that. As you can see, I’m not really doing so here now bc I’m not overly worried about either of you two (well I’m worried about tranter but not in the way of “I’m concerned he’s likely mafia” haha).
