oh yes, sounds incredible. for mine, we’re assessing the validity of an optical velocity measurement device for using when exercising using a velocity based training regimen. the camera system basically connects to a tablet where you can log into an account, say what exercise you’re going to perform, and then, after enough sets, it can start to generate what your estimated sets/repetitions should be based on how well you’re moving weight on a given day (kinda the whole idea behind velocity based training instead of strictly using percentage based training)

Yeah that sounds really cool and relevant. Mine is actually focused on using digital video to measure the motion of the vegetation in the field as opposed to like laser instrumentation in the lab.

I was going to propose a role - the knowing ref. But we'd all have to act in good faith that I'd be the one voted off D1 eventually and my votes would be cast by a random number generator. I"m still thinking through it but I don't know that it's doable.

I'm going to run this game even faster during the week (for example, an initial round until 8pm tonight) but I'm open to listening to you all on weekends. I don't know how much I will post tallies on weekends but I can check in to close stuff and announce things for sure if you want to play through weekends.
