Have y’all heard of Celine Dion before? And I think she’s a French-Canadian born singer and she now lives in Las Vegas, Nevada with her twins and her son lives in Miami, Florida. I’ve been hearing her since the nineties when I was young and a teenager. When I first heard “Where Does My Heart Beat Now” when I was in the second grade at South Heights during the 1990-1991 school year and it was right before her English album “Unison” came out and it was great.
We're all a mess of paradoxes. Believing in things we know can't be true. We walk around carrying feelings too complicated and contradictory to express. But when it all becomes too big, and words aren't enough to help get it all out, there's always music.

One year at a nursing home I used to work at, they switch the music playing in the hallways to the Christmas station and then just never changed it for an entire year, so after Christmas it stayed on a pretty bad adult contemporary station that cycled through the same 50 or so songs. "That's the Way It Is" was one of the few that I liked. (also, weirdly, they played "Sexual Healing" a lot.)
There's a bit in there about her staying at her husband's funeral for hours while her fans paid their respects that just brought my esteem for her through the roof.
