i haven't voted for honolulu yet, but personally i will probably never go there. if i'm going to take a flight that long i might as well go to europe. i know hawaii is more than just a "beach vacation" but i mean if i want to go to the beach i can just drive an hour.
Same, I’d be surprised if I ever go. The Caribbean also isn’t anywhere near as far (for us at least) and somewhat comparable in terms of scenery/beaches/etc.

Like browell , if I go, it will be just to check it off the list. Like you, I might not ever go. Every time someone mentions Hawaii, I immediately just think that if I wanted to go to a tropical beach vacation, I would much rather spend my time and money on something international. There are tons of islands that I would prefer to check off.
Welcome back Bonz, but I do not find it strange that your presence being requested in the Orgy thread and then you showing up, like it was the quacking Bonzai Bat Signal.
Comparing the beach in Hawaii to a beach in the Southeast USA is disgusting 🥴
i mean it's by no means a 1 to 1 comparison or anything even close, but simply put there are other beach/tropical locations i would rather explore and the whole southeast USA thing is more related to me being around it my whole life and now feeling a bit burnt out on beach vacations

ok but we’re not asking if you’d rather go to Hawaii or Europe were asking if you’d rather go to Hawaii or Minneapolis. Like I’d obviously rather go to the carribean or Europe than like anywhere on this list

I can only imagine that Honolulu is probably the worst place to be for thousands of miles. Why would I travel halfway around the world land on a small chain of islands in the middle of the Pacific Ocean and then hangout in a city? I'm sure Hawaii is great but this is city survivor not state survivor

We went to some other islands and it was much nicer.
Its primary industry is convincing people to essentially set their money on fire - read the book Super Casino if you ever want to get a picture of how thoroughly everything in Vegas is designed to get you to gamble until you can't gamble any more, and then maybe just keep gambling and if you spend your life savings, oopsie.
Its contribution to culture pales in comparison to almost every other major American city.
Someone posted pictures of the desert in one of the earlier threads as a way to sell it, but all of that stuff is not actually *in* Las Vegas.

I could go on.
Yea but you can have plenty of fun without gambling.
