I checked the Crystal Ballroom calendar and we now know when the shows will be starting each day. Thursday is doors/show at 6 pm, Friday is doors 4:30/show 5:30, and Saturday is doors/show at noon.
It's official. Weakened Friends are the mystery artist on Saturday. I have a bad feeling, though, that it's going to be impossible to catch Speedy Ortiz, Weakened Friends, and Hallelujah The Hills, given their placement on the poster. Two of them almost have to be going head to head.
i really wish this was outdoors at boynton yards bc i just dont see myself wanting to spend all day at indoor venues
I agree (although, unlike last year's NICE, a fest, ONCE Somerville isn't involved and actually is running their own Boynton Yards show that Saturday.)
I'm timing my second booster for early July, to carry me through NICE and four Aug & Sept indoor shows.
camping trip i had planned the same weekend fell apart, think im gonna do friday and saturday of this. Only thing is i cant find out where to get resale. its very fairly priced for sure but theres nothing on stubhub anywhere. prob will just bite the bullet. A lot of this lineup is just berklee kids trying too hard but i def wanna see Weakened Friends, Speedy Ortiz, Born Without Bones and Future Teens

I'm debating with myself whether to go or not. Future Teens and Speedy Ortiz are on super late, and while I'm just about ready to start going to indoor shows again, that's in reference to spending no more than two hours in the building (and preferably a building with a mighty powerful air filtration system, like the Wang and Roadrunner.)
I've already reached out to NICE to see what the process is for selling my three day wristband. I'll let you know what they tell me once I hear from them. I paid something like $59 with service charges, and I'd be willing to let it go for a substantial discount, if it meant getting some money back.

if youre interesting in selling ill buy it for $45. also do you already have the wristband? or is it like a digital barcode for the ticket

You show the email on your phone and they give you the wristband at the event. The catch is that I emailed them through their website interface, which they requested as the means of contact to ask about a transfer, and they haven't gotten back to me (and I asked last weekend, so I should have heard back by now.)

I'll reach out to them again today.
Zach, I got the details from the fest on how to transfer it to you, and it's pretty simple. I'll DM you over the weekend with more info.

i caved and bought a Saturday ticket. can't pass up a lineup of HTH > Rebuilder > Weakened Friends > Speedy Ortiz
might bail on my Friday ticket because going to Davis two nights in a row is annoying, i'd be going alone which sucks, Future Teens is all i care about and they only get 45min (and it goes until midnight?! ugh) but TBD

November, you say? Hmmm... I was hoping/assuming the blacked out date on their new tour poster was Boston, especially because Camp Trash is opening and they're awesome too, but that's October. I already have tickets to like 9 shows in November so odds of a potential conflict are high. Either way, i'll probably still go Friday.
It seems like a lot of the NICE bands are announcing local dates. There's the aforementioned Future Teens at Crystal Ballroom, HTH is playing the JP Music Festival on Sat, Sept 10, and ONCE just announced a 9th Boynton Yards show on Sat, Sept 24 headlined by Speedy Ortiz, Haasan Barclay, Mallcops, and more.
