I feel the opposite about Vegas. If it wasn’t for the distance from my family (and at this point, cost of living because their housing market has gone bonkers), I wouldn’t mind living there again, but I’d never choose it for a vacation.

I just hate the heat tho. But I do love Blackjack.
Portland does kinda suck. I enjoyed my visit but I'm so glad I don't live there. My cousin who moved there for work is trying desperately to get out. He's a nurse.

Per Google Maps, Honolulu includes the entire southeast chunk of Oahu, which is absolutely gorgeous. The downtown area may be nothing special, but its surroundings (which are also part of Honolulu) are spectacular. Diamondhead alone is better than anything in Las Vegas.

Would disagree based on red rock canyon which is also pretty majestic but I will admit I only realized Diamond Head is in Honolulu proper this morning and yeah that place looks really cool

not really vocal, not really "anti" so to speak, but I would be fine if I never went to Vegas again. I would rather spend more time if I'm flying somewhere (more than like two nights) but Vegas is the place where by the third day I can't wait to leave, and that has been on trips with my best friends. That's not a good sign to me.
I'm still voting Nashville until shit gets whittled down to two contenders today.
