Only my 2nd time doing Weekend 2 and I am more excited for Couchella this time. There are no acts that I am going to avoid watching unlike 2017. I don't care about being spoiled by any act and I get to see exactly when The Weeknd will show up in case they conflict with someone else.

I honestly am super disappointed. Feels like they just decided not to show any of the electronic acts - feels like they are trying to court Gen Z with the acts they picked which honestly, I get it for promotional reasons for the fest, but as somebody not going most of the acts I really wanted to see are not on the stream.

they also have a tendency to add last minute streams too. Would be surprised if they don't stream Caribou at least.

Does anyone else feel like the stream is starting much later than in previous years? I swear I remember in the past sitting on my couch and cracking a beer around 3:00 EST to start the streaming marathon

Same. My first W2 since 2012, really hoping these get recorded or replayed so I can catch what I miss.
This is my least favorite Coachella stream day ever. I'll still watch a bunch and flip through channels, but the only things I'm likely to queue up are BADBADNOTGOOD, Baby Keem, slowthai, Regrettes, The HU, Arcade Fire, Princess Nokia, Idles and maybe Ari. It's not like I hate everything else (besides Slander and Louis the Child), it's just not that interesting for me.
Fortunately there's way more shit I want to see on tomorrow and Sunday.

lol the crowd looked really confused at how to handle lil baby. pretty terrible name, not great, but far from the worst "rappers friend brought on stage to rap" I've seen.

I hate being on Eastern time for this. I'm not staying up til 2 a.m. each night. But my mornings will be lit.
It works out better for me. I've got kids and nothing I want to see starts before 715. Still can't have on Princess Nokia or the Regrettes with them around, though, so I'll have to hope for a replay. Plus I'm off Saturday and Sunday so I can stay up late to watch. If I can stay up late, that is. LOL.
Prediction: KROQ Ken's chosen stage tomorrow will be the unbelievable Mojave run. Keep those eyes peeled for the legend himself

I work all weekend though so I generally won't be there to open it each day.
