Had a huge smile on my face during the Hayley collab. That was awesome and totally unexpected. But damn, why'd they have to put that awful visual effect during Happier Than Ever? I wanted to see Hayley and Billie rock out together
I noticed that during a set last weekend. I definitely typed up a post complaining about it and then deleted it.
You guys def dont know a thing about boy band culture. Also he did debut 3 songs live so that comes into play on top of it. Wonder what everyone wouldve said if BTS was headlining.
The point wasn't that it was shocking. That it was annoying. It has nothing to do with knowledge of "boy band culture."
Also my experience last week wasn't during a "boy band" show.
Filming at shows is a common thing. It's annoying but there's no point shouting at clouds. It wasn't too long ago here that people were complaining about attendees at Bonnaroo even taking pictures. ("Just live in the moment.")

When I was younger going to my first shows, I would record too much. Then I stopped recording all together, but got bummed out that I didn't have anything to look back on. So now I just "allow myself" 1 or 2 songs to record per set and the rest of the time I'm 100% in the moment. Often not even the whole song, just one verse and chorus or my favorite part of the song.

I like to record a full song for shows, but never one of my favorites, I gotta boogie for those. I'll pick like the fourth best song of the set to film
Looks like everyone who was posting in this thread went weekend 2 and wasn't in the thread anymore, lol
I'm watching the weekend 2 curated streams and I gotta say, I love the little Sonora showcases for almost everyone. I also love, in a sick way, how they always leave you wanting more for every artist they showcase across the board. Perfect tactic to make you want to see the whole show live.
This thread ruled, hope everyone had an amazing time even if they just watched both weekends, and I hope it convinced one or two people to go next year to see some amazing one of a kind shiz
