I think some of y’all might be underestimating how hard it is to give choreography and hit every lyric, I thought Meg’s set was a lot of fun! The costume change was weird though. I think with more experience touring and playing big shows she will get better

No, that mic ain’t low - as soon as the song was over she talked into it and it was fine. This girl is finessing the hell out of these shows - lol
It’s too early to hate But I was a bit bummed people said Harry wasn’t a good headliner and yet here we have Billie whispering into her mic first song.

Naw I get it but if you can’t rap AND dance then just rap. Let the dancers dance then dance during the instrumental breaks. but I think once she’s plays bigger shows more often she can get better.

Dancing and rapping is very hard. I don't think anyone is discounting that. But there is a difference between choosing your moments and giving up and it felt like she was giving up for most of it. I don't thing she rapped at all during the first song. And then when she did start rapping it just made it more obvious how frequently she stopped to just let the backing track do the work.
and yea, all of this will probably get better over time, but when you're a pre-headliner at Coachella your show should already be much tighter. Like... instead of just letting your hype man DJ for 5 mins to an empty stage to do a costume change... I'm going to assume she had some sort of issue back stage that made it take longer
going to make another hyperbolic claim: "Papaoutai" is another one of the greatest songs ever made.
Also appreciate Stromae extending the song about his dad dying in a horrific act of violence to turn it into a rumba dance party.
Immediately followed by doing crowd work where he gets the crowd to scream and then stop screaming immediately before performing a song about his suicidal ideation. A performer like no other.
Combination of everything yeah, but uh this is disappointing. Kyary Pamyu Pamyu you have my full attention in 10 mins let's see if you convince me to miss this
