I’m monog(1 year with my partner in a couple days ☺️) but am eagerly awaiting the opportunity to get one. its pretty clear this thing isnt an sti and isnt just spread through sexual contact. How have side effects been?

My girlfriend and I were able to get our monkeypox vaccines today. AMA.
Stay safe out there, y'all.
Just a heads up that if you develop a bump around the injection site it might last a couple weeks. It’s normal.
Thank you! We've had other friends get them in the last couple weeks - some have a red bump for weeks, like you said, and others not so much. Did you have any other side effects?

We don't really expect any. I'm not working tonight, and I went into the studio early before we drove to the site. It's not like covid, so there shouldn't be any fever or anything, but we're keeping it chill just in case.

We're all a mess of paradoxes. Believing in things we know can't be true. We walk around carrying feelings too complicated and contradictory to express. But when it all becomes too big, and words aren't enough to help get it all out, there's always music.

My GF’s main male squeeze has told her today that he has genital warts and is seeing a doctor tomorrow. Both of us have gotten Gardasil years ago but that doesn’t protect from warts. This sucks! Thankfully he’s been in Berlin and hasn’t had time to see her since he got back, so I’m not worried about exposure. I also know it’s mostly HPV based & outbreaks can happen up to a year after.
Anyone have any experience with this can message me. My GF is freaking out a little and stories from real people are much better than searching on Web MD.
