Skyrim is a legendary all-timer, but we also need to eventually have a discussion about how many times it's been repackaged and sold again and again and again for over a decade. Same with GTA 5.

Agreed. Rockstar and Bethesda have really gotten disgusting with the greed regarding those two titles
Yeah I think so. Even if we want to forego the lack of respect for the consumer, I don't think I've ever played a franchise of games that was ever as consistently glitchy and buggy as Elder Scrolls.
Remember that Assassin’s Creed where the Italian guy would glitch out and looked like he was jacking off?
That buys it a couple rounds before it needs to be taken out for the insane plot and the majority of every game just being busy work.
also the creator intended for it to be a trilogy with III being set in the modern era. only 1-Revelations is a true entry in the series. the rest of it is a ubisoft cash grab.

black flag is so good
this is valid I did enjoy BF. it doesnt feel like a true AC game and more of its own thing that they slapped the AC label on
I've only been participating since nap band survivor, but have already learned that the more attention you give something, even if praise, some joker is going to vote for it.
Need to go back and read through drive thru and breakfast survivors to understand what kind of trauma was done to create such villains.

Inforoo never ceases to amaze me in finding stupid reasons to hate on something

I think you’re over exaggerating the samey aspect of these games when compared to most of the other franchises here.

In the case of something like classic Mario or Zelda games, where they've still consistently put out new games in the series and have various new consoles and handhelds with no backwards compatibility, re-releases are fine.
But with something like Elder Scrolls or GTA where fans are eager for just even a drop of news about the next one, but all they can muster is, not one, but several repackages over a decade on consoles that support backwards compatibility, it becomes an annoyance. It was either the Rockstar or Bethesda head that even said he does it because fans are dumb enough to keep buying it. So I'd say the frustration is justified.
Edit: to be crystal clear, I love the Elder Scrolls games, GTA I don't really care. I've never owned a Playstation so many of these I've never played or kept up with, so I wouldn't bother mounting an argument against them.

that's sort of like being mad at bluray though when every bluray player has DVD playback
gta 5 having ps3, ps4 and ps5 versions really shows just how diminishing returns have been for graphics in the past 15 years. Imagine a game having a ps1, ps2 and ps3 version
