Curious what's everyone's console history growing up to now?
I went Sega Genesis -> N64 -> Xbox -> Xbox 360 -> Wii and then went more than a decade without gaming before I got a Switch in late 2020. Interspersed in there I played a lot of Starcraft, Sims, and Everquest on PC.

Atari 2600 > PC > NES > PC > (I played Genesis and PlayStation in college, but they belonged to roommates, while still focusing on the PC at home) > Xbox > Xbox 360 > PS3 > PS4 > PS5

Dreamcast > PS2 / Game Cube > Xbox 360 / Wii > PS4
The big sad of not having a Playstation was not getting to play Final Fantasy. All of the good ones are ported on the Switch now, but I'm still working my way through Xenoblade and then want to do Dragon Quest, as far as jrpg's go.. So may never get around to it.
