Cheugy (/ˈtʃuːɡi/ CHOOG-ee) is an American neologism coined in 2013. The term is commonly claimed to have been popularized by Generation Z, as a pejorative to describe lifestyle trends associated with the early 2010s and millennials. This aesthetic has been described as "the opposite of trendy" or "trying too hard".
Most people’s criticisms of Coachella and the musicians that play there, whether they be Redditors, hyperpop teens, or influencers, are wrong. Unlike mine which are correct and irrefutable.

all fests are cheugy
Unless they're for minors, like Gov Ball, in which case they are a very expensive day care to put your teen to get heat stroke and alcohol poisoning before the headliner goes on stage.
It does seem like it's cultural cache is slipping a bit which is probably a good thing in the long run for people that actually enjoy going to music festivals.
Do you want to dance while also thinking about all the ways you've failed as a human?
