Lots of shit increases grey matter and neurotransmitters. That includes simple stuff like minesweeper, card games, really anything you can think of that requires decisions on the fly. Doesn’t matter what we are playing, we will find new patterns and new possibilities. Just using our brains and also maybe a little further using them in conjunction with controllers can freshen up and exercise those brain cells. That’s all important the older we get as opposed to just being passive and zoning out to television or other negative brain activity past times. I also remember reading about people who play classical music for infants being a catalyst for neuro stimulation.
