Wow people really coming after the few women in the thread. Cool. Anyway, voted for RHCP since it almost went out last round.
Someone's been voting Bjork since the beginning. She can't be the worst. Also someone dropped a vote on PJ which I personally don't understand. I, however, was happy to cast a vote for No Doubt since I really don't care much about them. I guess if I liked pop and ska-ish a little more, they'd last longer for me. Don't forget there are 3 (5) guys in that band as well.

I'd be a little more amiable about it if there were 3-5 women in male-fronted bands here. Again, the whole line-up of this survivor is a little off because there are "bands" that aren't all-male from the 90s that are woefully forgotten and somehow Bjork and PJ have to carry the load.

Hopefully they will both make it (deservedly) at least into the 6-10 range.

I just remembered my favorite Nirvana story. Right after Bleach was released, Cobain showed up drunk at one of the owners of Sub Pop (the label that released Bleach, obviously) and demanded they give him a contract. After trying to reason with him as to how that’s not how they do things. Finally, they relented and gave him a piece of paper to sign so they could go back to sleep. A few months later David Geffen signed them and because of that piece of paper, they had to put the Sub Pop logo on all the vinyl, cd’s, and cassettes of Nevermind.
tl;dr Cobain got drunk and gave Sub Pop a store in the SeaTac Airport.

I will be coming for Bjork and PJ Harvey soon for semantic reasons because they’re not BANDS. There we’re plenty of women-led bands that could have been here instead.

But they're NOT so can we at least assess these two on quality rather than semantics?!

This probably would've been more representative as a 90's Act Survivor instead of bands but that's what happens when you eschew the expertise of professionals.
