I've tried DMSR a few times but I don't get the tingles everyone talks about.
admittedly, not everyone can have DMSR click for them like it did with me. But I was a lifelong Prince Stan who happened to be driving across the Mojave to Coachella when Prince died the day before the fest began. The whole weekend was an amazing catharsis with Prince tributes and covers everywhere. But this was the US debuted of Despacio (if I remember correctly, and this was weekend 2 if we want to be technical about it) and James Murphy was spinning records before LCD's headlining set that night. Because Prince had died the day before, Murphy spin like four hours straight of Prince records. DMSR is the one he put on that just clicked for me and it has risen in my Prince rankings ever since. 1999 as an album didn't fully click for me until September 2020.

you knew this was going to happen. you should've skipped LCD and Radiohead and thrown in some real curveballs like Britney Spears to really mix things up.

Sad Pink Floyd is about to depart us. But Sheep isn't really a huge highlight from their catalog. That Outkast song doesn't really do anything either for me though.
