The bonnaroo headline thread is just a source of constant disappointment and heartache
you make it sound like that's a bad thing
That was the reasoning by which the Politics, COVID, and Woke Mob threads all went out. Those threads are all high-engagement, decently high-level discourse (compared to when people discuss music on here imo) and supportive threads.
Last great HL thread was the Hiltons one. What a shitshow. It's so boring nowadays.
it's certainly been less of a dumpster fire in recent years but it's still the most fun place to be during rumor season imo. this past one kept us on our toes with noz showing up and looking like some rando troll but then wasn't. and getting for real trolled by trantsgiving and his team of hooligans is always a treat. all the shenanigans and stupid inside jokes, i love it.
As much as I love Now Playing, it should go soon. There was a point where it was the absolute best thread on the board. Most of those posters have disappeared or moved on. That’s absolutely not a knock on the people that post in there now.
It’s over 10 years old. Most of the hot links are dead and no one is giving early previews of albums for the most part. There used to be discussion but not so much anymore.
I post pretty much on Friday when it’s new release day. Past that, not so much.
