Ambient seems to be flying under the radar here. If I wanted to listen to nothing, I could easily do that without turning on any music at all
well yes if I wanted a perfect sensory experience to focus or relax I would fly to my secluded meditation cave in Malaysia where, sitting on my expansive rugs with the smell of incense wafting over me, all I can hear are the dulcet tones of the wind bouncing off the rocks in the background, but in a pinch ambient music will do.
Ive worked with, dated and hang out with Jamaicans. I listen to dancehall and reggae all the time. There is plenty of non homophobic artists and songs. There are newer reggae artists who are more exposed to other cultures and ways of thinking trying to change some perceptions.

because of yesterday's thread i listened to reggaeton most of the day and reggaeton is great.
what is there to possibly dislike about this:
is it because the words are all in spanish? do you prefer words in english? so maybe there is a disdain for our spanish-speaking sisters and brothers this dislike stems from? do you want to build the wall? do you want to declare a national emergency to build the wall? is that why?
The reggaeton beat is incredibly repetitive but what I think is funny that techno and house got no shit whatsoever for also using the same repetitive rhythms yesterday.

i noticed the same, but was waiting and hoping that someone would seriously posit that "the four on the floor beat is bad, actually."
