odd bit of trivia: the mad max inspired concept of the California Love video came from Jada Pinkett Smith. but she declined to direct the video which was when Hype Williams came in.
and it's really a Dr. Dre track featuring 2Pac. was slated for The Chronic II. anyway such a monster track, whenever I hear Pac's verse start I can barely breath. i think Pac's talent as an MC is overshadowed by his charisma and larger than life personality (and juxtaposition to the goat biggie), but dude had some bars.
