I expected to see Miracle Whip here, which would have made the first vote much easier. I apparently really enjoy condiments. (Except Miracle Whip. Yuck.)

Has anyone here ever had monkey gland sauce, or are we all just voting for it because it sounds gross (even though, as someone else said, it doesn't actually contain monkey glands)?

My guess here would be no and yes. I looked it up on the Wikipedia, and it sounds pretty okay, so I’m voting for tartar sauce because I have no use for tartar sauce. But I’d have to vote for monkey gland sauce soon anyway because I use most of the rest of these options to some degree or another and have never had monkey gland sauce.

While some will disagree with my voting strategy, it is pretty consistent throughout these Survivors.
Elimination priority: 1. Things I actively dislike 2. Things I'm not familiar with 3. Things I enjoy
I've never had monkey gland sauce, but I enjoy all the other things. Therefore, monkey gland sauce gets my vote this round.
(Don't get too comfortable, cream. I don't have proper scones all that often.)

Never had it, but voted for it after looking at the recipe the chutney with the other things is what convinced me. I understand the enjoyment of a good homemade sauce, but in this survivor I'm going to value the things we get in a bottle or jar and can be used quickly. I like almost all of them though.

Good fall cocktail recipe (that uses one of these sauces) - 3 parts bourbon, 1 part maple syrup, 1 part freshly squeezed lime juice (angostura bitters to taste, if preferred). Shake over ice in shaker, pour neat.
