Hi everyone,
As the title says, these will be the last few months of Inforoo. The mods and I have discussed ways to keep the website running but with the rising costs of website management and a dwindling user base, we believe that it is best for this website to die with some dignity.
While this must be sad and shocking news, we want to thank you all for making this such a wonderful website the past 18 years. Most websites do not last that long and we are honored that you all have developed such a wonderful community.
We will try to archive as much of the site as we can afford but please know that our cloud storage is limited so please use this thread to share your favorite inforoo posts and memories so they will, at the very least, be preserved in this thread.
As I'm sure you can understand, this has been a very tough day emotionally so forgive any mistakes I made in the original post. We here at Inforoo sure are going to miss you, Mr. Sub. Thank you for your years of service.
Those free ProBoards with volunteer mods are pricey to run.

the usage is free because of the ads but the cost of the domain costs have quadrupled in the last few months.
Like I said, money is only half of it. If this board was at peak popularity, we would figure it out but at this point, we just feel like we are dragging around a corpse and would rather put this old girl to bed.

Yes, we understand that this may feel like a world ending event but the connections and memories from this forum will last longer than the forum itself. Remember your first scoopz season? First insider spotting? Maybe you played a draft or two, went to a brunch, got to see many A-list posters like myself in their prime. However you've enjoyed yourself on this forum, we want to thank you.

My friends and I did a double feature that day (paying for one movie and sneaking into the second). Figured that we were all disappearing in the Rapture anyway so YOLO.
