Sure looks like Big Thief from the gap in those dates.
07/17 – Burlington, VT @ Lawn at Shelburne Museum ^ 07/18 – Northampton, MA @ The Pines Theater ^ 07/19 – Kingston, NY @ Ulster Performing Arts Center ^ 07/26 – Indianapolis, IN @ Egyptian Room ^ 07/27 – Madison, WI @ The Sylvee ^
I know Altin Gün were supposed to play in 2020 and they've got an NMF-sized gap this year as well: 7/19 - Wooly’s - Des Moines, IA 7/21 - The Vogue - Indianapolis, IN 7/24 - Basement East - Nashville, TN 7/25 - Terminal West - Atlanta, GA
Yeah this rules, I'm in. Also it's always cool to discover sick undercard acts like Meridian Brothers. I went in expecting twang and got psychedelic Colombia cumbia/salsa

Can't do it this year, wife will be 8.5 months pregnant, but to anyone on the fence we had the absolute BEST time last September and thought that the new site was fantastic

Man, I'm getting a little out of touch, because I usually don't know all the NMF acts but this lineup is a mystery to me. And that is not to knock it any way since they always do a great job of booking, and it's fun finding new stuff by just showing up or wandering by the stage.
I'm going to see if I can make it but probably won't know until early July. My business is currently a one-man show and it's really hard right now to find anyone to cover me. I have Bonnaroo covered but that was lucky. Might be possible though since I could start early and work a half day Thursday and only need Friday and Saturday covered, so we'll see. Looks like it's sure to be a good time and I want to see the new site.

Wow, I just looked at ticket prices. For just myself + Thursday added + camping pass + campsite/parking it'll be $416. If I can make it there I can handle the price but that's getting pretty steep. I guess they have to pay for the new venue somehow and $150 to camp is the way.

The jump is wild. Last year for me, my wife, and my daughter (who was free) was almost exactly $300 total.

Yeah, I thought about it and that was some real sticker shock. It was always under $200 for one ticket + camping before. I know everything has gone up, and I don't hate the lineup, but that's just $50 shy of what I'm paying for Bonnaroo, which is way more acts, a bunch of big-name acts, 2 more days of camping, another day of music, and 1000 flushy toilets. I sent NMF feedback. I hate to be a wet blanket, so I'm done with the whining.
We're all a mess of paradoxes. Believing in things we know can't be true. We walk around carrying feelings too complicated and contradictory to express. But when it all becomes too big, and words aren't enough to help get it all out, there's always music.

No big surprises but Sunday is unusually stacked. Multiple sets for Rose City Band, Jupiter & Okwess, James Xerses Fursell, and Garcia Peoples, among others

REALLY looking forward to this awesome festival again this year. I can't believe how amazing the lineup is. I think it is their best ever! We got early arrival for Thursday and will be camping until Monday. I understand the sticker shock with the ticket price. I kind of expected it though, with the move to the new location and the cost of everything going up. With so many festivals cancelling or struggling, I am happy to pay more to keep this one going! Also, I consider some of my ticket money as a donation to the non-profit Stuart's Opera House and their programs. Are there any other festivals put on by non-profits?

Those kids that do the showcase from the Stuart’s after school program are one of my favorite parts of the festival. Take my money!
Been listening to a lot of Wednesday and MJ Lenderman this weekend and man I feel like they're going to be huge. 2-3 years from now they'll make the Big Thief leap and be headlining festivals like this and Pitchfork
