As we close out March & now have most all other fest lineups relevant to ACL already dropped, how are we feeling??
Are we really gonna have the trio of Kendrick/Foos/Odesza and revert back to the mid-10s when all headliners were copied/pasted from elsewhere? Say what you will about last year's top acts, but at least they were different. If we miss one of the big three, is it likely Kendrick that's out!? If so, oooof. I'm feeling very pessimistic about the Amex closers this year...
On the flip side, I'm excited about the potential acts for Honda closers & high-end sub. There are a lot of great acts possible from in that range... Lana, Smashing Pumpkins, YYY, Hozier, the 1975, Leon Bridges, Alanis Morissette, etc all in the mix, plus I wouldn't be shocked if we see someone like The Killers in that range too (although Lumineers could also pop up, too).
All said, really not sure what the expect these last few weeks. I feel a wild curveball coming...I hope F1 gives some clarity and that we get SOME breadcrumbs soon...
After my annual deep-dive into the Pearl Jam messages boards, seems like there is a lot of buzz around a fall tour to regions not hit on last year's tour, namely the New England & midwest...Texas was also skipped last year...idk but I'll continue to speak PJ into existence until it happens lmao

might get one of or multiple of All American Rejects, Motion City Soundtrack, New Found Glory, and the Get Up Kids as weekend 2 exclusives. Tour with all of them hits Houston the Thursday of ACL weekend 2 and OKC the Saturday of it with no Austin date. Booked through weekend 1 though
yep, just about everyone from the 2014 lineup pops up as playing ACL when you look them up. bummed but oh well.

I heard dates around September and Dallas on there but no other Texas dates. ACL definitely seems very possible!
I was pretty set that the Foo Fighters would fill that slot though, I think that's the only thing riding against it

Yeah I was thinking that he'd be like 7, 8, or 9 (top name of the smaller text) on the poster. Also did they sell the upper bowl for that show? My boy Billy Strings is doing two nights at the Moody in June and I noticed they aren't selling upper bowl for it

Please let us get LCD and no they usually don't sell upper bowls. Usually the box level are peaks or that's how it was in Nashville. Was pit for night one and in a box the second.
If those pit tickets were for night 2 I'd scoop them. Already have N1 pits.
